There was a girl
And a boy
She was a beauty
And he was a toy.
But she didn't notice
How much he was hurting
Until after
It was too late.
He was confused
And she was confusing.
And when he thought
It was okay,
She confused him even more
And he ran away.
She wanted him back
But he moved on
And now she realized
What she did wrong.
She wanted to make it better
And prove to him
That she will change,
Despite the pessimism.
But he is hesitant
In letting her in
And starting the cycle
All over again.
She will give him time
To think of his answer
But either way,
They will be better.
Friends or strangers,
They will be better.
