I woke up with a migraine. Great.

I was confused why I was in Blake's room and then I remembered.
We went to the party and then came here, made out, he asked me out, and now we're boyfriends.
And that's actually really exciting.

I got my hoodie on and slightly shook Blake.
"Hey," I whispered, "I'm going to go home. I'll see you tomorrow at school."

He yawned. "I can take you home."

I shook my head. "No, I'll walk."

He closed his eyes. "Okay. I love you."
He rolled over.

"I love you too." I said. "Bye."

"Bye."

I walked through his living room and said bye to his mom before walking out the front door.

I put my hood up, hoping it would block out the sunlight. Luckily, it did.

I pulled out my phone and decided to call Shadin.
No answer.

It was noon. She should be up. But maybe her phone was dead? Or she lost it? Who knows.

I continued walking home.
I could try to call her later.

I decided to stop by the corner store and get something to eat. I saw Lindsey at the counter. I didn't know she worked here.

I put my stuff up there and she scanned them.

"Lindsey, have you seen Shadin since last night?"

She shook her head. "She dropped me off and went home."

I sighed. "I tried calling her and she didn't pick up."

Lindsey shrugged. "Dead phone?"

"That's what I thought."

"I'm sure you'll get ahold of her soon. Whether it's on the phone or you'll see her at school." She pointed to the screen. "$6.89."

I gave her the money and said goodbye and started walking home again.

Maybe Lindsey was right...maybe I would see Shadin soon.

I looked at the infinity symbol inked into my wrist.
