Ok so for today's session I've decided to change things up a bit and have a rant for your enjoyment.

I'm probably alone in this, but for 5SOS fanfic readers, has anyone else noticed that all the covers that people make are just a white background with a picture with the chrome filter and a deep and meaningful one word/number title?

And the storyline is always au and about the four boys livin the thug lyf snorting coke out of each other's ass cracks and then some random girl just comes along like wey hey and damn son it goes downhill from there but not much else happens tbh

Oh yeah and can you please not write the whole story in lowercase and eradicate punctuation from your existence because it's physically hurting me to read.

Like I understand if you like the way it's very basic and artsy, but what really tickles my peach is this idea that if you present your book this way, it makes you a hipster and therefore above everybody else in the wattpad community.

Sorry if this comes as a shock it you, but your book is hipster enough just by have 17 reads ok don't flatter yourself.

I don't know about you (I'm singing it too don't worry) but I preferred it when the author treated his or her work as a professional piece, and put effort into thinking of a plot and title, not to mention a cover. Because just by looking at your books cover and title, I can't tell what you're writing about.

Pro tip: people are more likely to read your book if "animal// irwin au" isn't the title.

because when i read that all i can think of is steve irwin and i don't think that's ideal
