One of my favorite things to draw is dragons. They just capture my imagination and are quite the challenge. From Leif, the current Dragon Empress, to Lyrica, the evil dracolitch, they are awesome fun to bring to life on the pages. Here are the dragons that fly the pages of my stories.
Dreadfyre the Bold, the first Empress
Every world has an epic history, and that always includes historical figures who made a difference to light the way for the characters of today. The past of a world is always very influential in customs and culture, and the Dragon who blazed the way in the history of my stories is none other than Dreadfyre the Bold. She used her wings to help the ancestors of all the creatures in my world escape from the Red Shadow's flames, earning her name and title. Below is a sketch of her using her wings to allow the others to escape. Here is a drawing of Dreadfyre the Bold flying once more after her wings had finally healed from the Red Shadow's flames.
Keeping up the trend of historical order, before Leif was on the throne there was another to blaze the way. There have been hundreds of Empresses, but to keep this short we will skip forward thousands of years to Naegori the Swift, the Empress who came before Leif.
