Here are a couple covers for stories I have still in the development phase along with synopses for the stories they go with. I might change the covers when the stories come out. Comment on the stories you would be most likely to read.
XT-34
Blaeyde Flynn has always considered herself a black sheep, an outcast among so many people, with an abrasive personality that tends to annoy people and rub them the wrong way with her hyperactive tendencies. She is more than thrilled when she gets a place on a small team including three other girls to hold down an outpost on a small planet in a war against shape shifting aliens. But being away from home triggers a secret in her genetic code that proves she is not purely human. As her shape shifter DNA starts expressing itself, Blaeyde becomes nearly invincible and it becomes increasingly harder to hide. With an unlikely ally in the team doctor Sterling Sharp, Blaeyde continually tests her limits. Soon her team discovers that the war is a government conspiracy to wipe out a race that did no wrong. Blaeyde and her team must race against time before any more blood is shed, regardless of species. But with the humans on Earth believing the lie that the shape shifters are dangerous and evil, and a band of renegade shape shifters having captured technology that can wipe out the planet, Blaeyde and her team are working overtime. What's worse is that the humans have started developing technology that can actually kill the shape shifters. Seen as an abomination by both humans and shape shifters alike, Blaeyde must resolve tensions between sworn enemies. The past may be the only key to ensure the future.Death Club
Chance Harlen, Ander Botis, Katelyn Miauw, Arthur Lance, and Bryce Swanson are the brightest students in their school. Their friendship begins over a simple chat about the numerous causes of death people face every year. Soon the five become fascinated by human mortality, leading them to solve numerous murder cases. But a fellow student overhears one of their conversations and misinterprets it as a death threat. With the evidence piled high against them, they are taken to court and sentenced to juvenile detention for premeditated murder. Unable to prove their innocence and with a crime they didn't commit staining their permanent records, they might never get a chance to get into their dream colleges. Hope is renewed when their case manager forwards their file to a government agency, and they are given a second chance to use their intellectual abilities to help solve murders with the FBI. Soon the five set to work on the case of the century, but death isn't just fun and games. Their involvement in a particular case gets them up close and personal with death itself, and the team is in immediate danger. Can they make it out of this case alive and unscathed?
