These are a few drawings for my story I've just started called Blood and Steam: Shattered. It is a post apocalyptic science fiction steampunk story with human-animal hybrids. Carnelian- Carnelian, aka Carney, is a fun loving trouble making hybrid with blazing red hair, freckles, stunning violet eyes, and a large bushy tail. She is 16 years old. She's a squirrel/ cat hybrid who just can't go without one day of trouble. Here's a chibi Carney drawing I did

Axel- Axel is a strict rule following no-nonsense hybrid who enjoys bossing the others around at the orphan society. He is 18 years old. He is an axolotl salamander hybrid, so he can heal very quickly and even regrow limbs and organs and parts of his brain. Unlike many other hybrids he doesn't show hardly any animal traits, yet he still has the violet eyes that every hybrid has. Here's a chibi drawing I did of him.

Chaz Chaz is a lovable chubby boy aging at around fifteen, and he looks up to Axel like a big brother but he has a major crush on Carney. He is kind, easy going, a little messy, and a real sweetheart. I created him as a character for this story to cope with the death of Chazzy, my pet salamander. Chaz is a tiger salamander hybrid, with a salamander tail and retractable claws. Here's chibi Chaz.
