~Six Months Later~

"Alright, Artemis, I'm on my way there. Oh, actually, I'm here. Are you far behind?" Dick asked through his phone as he walked out of his car. It was the Fourth of July, and Artemis was having a hard time dealing.
It was the day Wally died. A whole year had gone by so fast. Artemis invited Dick over for dinner, maybe to help cope.
"I'm like, fifteen minutes behind you. Just walk in, it's unlocked." She said.
"Okay see you.." But as Dick walked into the house, what he was greeted with was almost ironic.
Wally.
Dick almost dropped his phone in surprise. The two locked eyes, and Wally smiled. Oh God, had he missed that smiled.
"Hey...Dickie."
"A-Artemis? You need to get here." Dick said, almost a whisper.
"What? Why?" She said frantically through the phone.
"Just do it. You'll see." He hung up and put his phone back in his pocket and closed the door behind him.  He walked slowly, as if what he was seeing was just another dream. But the dreams...they ended months ago. And Wally wasn't attacking him this time.
"Oh, God, she's gonna annihilate me." Wally said, a bit sheepishly.
"It's your own fault," Dick was just about ready tackle Wally with a hug, but he didn't yet. "Getting yourself killed." Dick said, trying to joke but almost on the verge of tears.
"...Oops." It was Wally instead who went in for the hug. Dick was even taller than he remembered. Usually, either one of them would have pulled away after a couple seconds, but this occasion was an exception. When they do pull away however, Dick couldn't help but cry a couple happy tears.
"Aww...you're crying for me!" Wally said, tearing up a bit himself.
"Shut up." Dick said, smiling. Wally was dressed in his Kid Flash outfit, albeit a bit ripped in some places, the goggles and mask off. "How are you...even here?"
"I don't...I don't know. I just showed up here. I knew I died but..."
"Well...I suppose the league can deal with that then. I'm just glad you're here now."
"It seems like I've missed a lot." Wally said, pointing to the multiple scars up and down Dick's arm. "Those aren't..."
"What? Oh no." Dick said, catching Wally's drift. Wally let out a tiny breath of relief.
"So...what has happened?" Wally said, sitting down at his table. Dick sat across from him.
"It's...a lot. You might want to hear it from Artemis." Dick said, praying that he wouldn't ask about the scars.
"Okay...then tell me about the scars."
Crap.
"Alright well...I fell of my bed and broke a vase." Dick said quickly, hoping it would be enough. But he could never fool Wally. Wally leaned back a crossed his arms. Suddenly his eyes drifted down to Dick's leg which was sticking out, and from the way he sat you could see half the scar the bullet wound had left him. Wally's eyes widened at the sight.
"Dick? What's that from?"
"Uh, well..."
"Spill, Grayson!"
"I got shot in the leg. Then it got infected. And then I got into a car accident and was flung through the front window." All while Dick said this, Wally was silent.
"I die one time and this is what happens?"
"Well..."
"Oh my God, there's more?" Wally said, groaning a bit.
"Yeah well no physical damage!"
"Then what was the damage?"
"I, uh, hadamentalbreakdown."
"You what?"
"I had a mental breakdown." Dick said, avoiding Wally's gaze. Wally's mouth gapped a bit as he tried to think of something to say.
"Over...over me?" Wally asked weakly. Dick nodded. "Why?" Dick sighed a bit, not sure what to say.
"Because...I thought you died hating me."
"Why would I-" but Wally stopped when he remembered the fight they had. "Oh."
"Yeah..."
"But...I didn't!"
"You...you didn't?"
"No." Wally said, shaking his head. Dick smiled a bit, then took a deep breath. "You had a mental breakdown though?"
"Yeah, it was...pretty bad. I had nightmares. Of you...and Jason...who's alive by the way."
"What?"
"Story for another time."
"Okay but...the dreams? What do I do?"
"Just...broke me? I can't really explain it. But listen," Wally turned to face him. "It wasn't you."
"You're positive?" Wally asked, skeptical.
"Positive. Besides, you saved my life at one point."
"What do you mean?"
"I was in a coma, dude. You like, told me to wake up. Some near death experience or whatever."
"Seriously?"
"Seriously."
That's when the door knob turned, the two boys stood up, ready to face Artemis.
When the girl stepped in a picked her head up, she gasped quietly, not quite sure what she was seeing was real.
"Hey...I'm not dead..." Wally said slowly, scratching his head.
"Wally?" She asked quietly.
"Yeah, babe." They stared at each for a moment.
"Wallace Rudolph West!" She yelled suddenly, running at him.
"See! I told you!" Wally said to Dick. But instead of slapping, she simply kissed him. Dick couldn't help but smile.
"Don't scare me like that!" She said when she pulled away. "How are you even..."
"Don't worry about me, okay? I'm here now." She smiled, a few tears slipping down her face. She sniffled and turned to Dick.
"What have told him?"
"Just about-"
"That he was in a coma and then had a mental breakdown over me." Wally suddenly cut in.
"Oh. I see." She said.
"Wait, you knew?" Wally asked.
"Of course I knew! He told me at your grave." Dick blushed a bit, and turned from them.
"I have a grave?"
"Well, dude, you were dead." Dick said from the couch.
"Yeah, no shit Sherlock."

Artemis decided to invite the rest of the team over, not telling them about Wally's return. When they entered, there were certainly tears and questions, but as the original Young Justice watched the fireworks that night, suddenly everyone was okay.
They had their Wall-Man back.
They had their Dick Grayson back.
As Dick watched his teammates stare bewildered at the fireworks, you could hear him mutter,
"Business as usual," with a smile.
