I didn't know what to expect when I finally raised my head. And when I saw who it was, I was even more shocked than the actual moment the paint covered my face, because Harry's piercing green eyes were bright in the moonlight as he looked down at me, his lips turning up on the side, just like I loved. His dimple was back, and I was so thankful.
But reality snapped me out of my gaze, and I pushed myself to stand up. "Harry?" I question, before pushing myself up to my feet. Once again, I wipe off the paint from my arms, before I heard him speak, something I never expected to hear again after his outburst.
"Guilty," I focused on his beautiful smile, which was showing a little as he looked at me. "Are you alright?"
I physically felt unable to speak, his presence taking my breath away, not to mention I already couldn't breathe from him startling me. I finally forced myself to nod my head, which me chucked at. His deep, rough voice could be heard no matter what sound he made. If he cleared his throat, or laughed, or whispered, or shouted.
I tucked the balloon's strings tightly around my hand before I walked by Harry. "El?" I heard his voice again, the sound of my name on his tongue sending shivers through my body as I froze in place. I sucked in a breath, so loud I'm positive he heard it. "I won't bother you anymore, I promise." I said, hoping to assure him that I would respect his request, even though he was furious. I was disappointed to hear the crack in my voice that made it sound like I was on the verge of tears.
I suddenly could feel how close Harry was, and my breath caught in my throat, and my lips parted as his shirt brushed against my arm. "I want you to bother me," I heard against my shoulder, and I could feel his hot breath as it made contact with my skin.
I was slightly scared to turn around, because of how close he was. I would be so tempted to just kiss him.
Wait, what?
