Rose's POV

"So, that's it? No more Glee?" Sam asks. We're now back in glee Club after break. Finn is explaining to us how glee Club is over for the year. "Until next September." Mr. Shue clarifies. "Sugar already bailed." Artie adds. "Can I just say what everyone is thinking? This is Marley's fault." Tina states and I turn around and glare at her.

"No, Tina, it's not. It's everyone's fault because we didn't get back out when we were told to." I disagree. She continues. "I knew Rachel Berry. I was friends with Rachel Berry. And you are a disgrace to Rachel Berry." Tina says. "Mmh. Preach." Artie comments.

"Guys, guys, enough. It's not like it's over. The holiday concert is later this week, and we are going to be preparing for it all week long. If this is our swan song, let's make it the best one it can be." Finn encourages. "You really expect us to go up in front of the whole school and parade our loserdom for all to see?" Kitty questions. "Yeah, Kitty does have a point." I speak up.

"We agreed to do the show when we thought it would be on the heels of another Sectionals victory. Now it just feels like a pity party." Artie mentions. "I like to sing and dance as much as anybody, but without a competition to prep for, it's hard to get motivated." Tina claims.

"I understand that we need a little shift in perspective, but let's just enjoy this week and look forward to our big comeback next year." Finn declares. "That's right." Me. Shue nods his head. "What about those of us who won't have a next year?" I question. Everyone looks around to the seniors and the bell rings.

We all walk out. I have a free period next, so I walk to Sue's office. I knock on the door. "Coach Sylvester?" I ask. "Come in." I open the door and sit in one of her chairs. "What are you doing here, buttercup?" She gave me that nickname when I was little. She is really good friends with my mom, so I am close with her, too.

"I want back on the Cheerios." I announce. "Are you sure you can still keep up? Three months of not being in practice doesn't really help your case." She states. "Sue, you know I was the best on the team last year. You know I'll still be the best if you let me come back." I insist.

She thinks for a second. "Alright, buttercup. Here you go." She gets up and walks over to a box. In it is my old uniform and my letterman jacket. She hands me the uniform, but not the jacket. "What, I'm not getting the jacket, too?" I inquire. "Not this one." She answers. Once again she walks over to a box.

She pulls out a jacket and shows me the back. Cheerios C. I gasp. "Really, Sue?" I ask. "Yes, buttercup, really." She responds and hands it to me. I can't help but give her a quick hug, and surprisingly, she hugs back. "Thank you." I say and walk out.

I change into my uniform and put the jacket on. Thank god I keep my sneakers in my locker, or I would've been screwed. We didn't see Finn for the rest of the day, so I'm guessing he doesn't know that we all joined something else. Soon enough, the final bell rings, and I walk to the gym for Cheerios practice.

When I walk in a rude girl who I've never seen before 'greets' me. "What are you doing here?" She questions. "I'm on the Cheerios." I answer and roll my eyes. "Yeah right." The girl responds and Sue walks in.

"Girls, this is the new Captain of the Cheerios, Rose Knight." Some girls gasp and Brittany and Kitty run over to me. I know Kitty might seem like a bitch, but her and I get along well. We practice for two hours and then Sue dismisses us.

"Hey, buttercup. Nice work." Sue smiles over at me before I leave. "Do you guys want to go to the Lima Bean with me?" Brittany asks and both Kitty and I agree. I could honestly go for some coffee right now. I text my mom that I'd me home around seven and she responds soon after.

Once we get there and settled down, a group of boys with certain uniforms on come in the door, order coffee, and sit down right next to us. "So, Rose. What's with that get up?" Sebastian asks. "I rejoined the Cheerios." I state in a 'duh' tone. Hunter sits down after all of them, taking the empty spot next to me.

He slightly smirks at me. "Is there are reason you're here? Or are you still just stalking me?" I question glaring slightly at Sebastian. "Still stalking." He answers. Brittany, Kitty, and I all look at each other and send a sort of message to each other silently.

We all get up. "Where are you going?" Hunter inquires. "Anywhere but here." I joke. He knows that I'm joking, and that we have to keep our relationship a sort of secret. He nods slightly as if saying 'goodbye'.

The three of us head back to my house, where we are greeted by my mom making lasagna. "You girls are welcome to stay for dinner if you'd like." My mom offers and the girls nod. We hang out for a couple minutes in my room before we are called down to eat. They say they need to go, and I head upstairs to get they're stuff put together while they finish eating.

A knock on my window startled me. I walk over and open it. I hit Hunter on his arm when he comes in. "Don't do that. You scared the shit out of me." I scold him. I hear footsteps coming up the stairs. I push Hunter into my closet and try to look as casual as I can.

"We'll see you tomorrow." Kitty says and hugs me. Brittany does the same and the walk downstairs and put the door. Hunter walks out of the closet and pins me up against the wall.

Well, hello there.
