(Y/N)'s POV
"Save Nebby!" The mysterious blonde said. I fearfully walked onto the rickety bridge. I put myself between the Spearow and Nebby. They pecked at me, I felt pain, but I held my ground. The little pokemon I was protecting attempted to use teleport, it scared off the Spearow, but the bridge broke. I screamed in terror, and hugged the little pokemon. I closed my eyes, but no pain came. I slowly opened my eyes, to see a pokemon carrying me and Nebby to safety. Me, Nebby, and the girl looked at the pokemon in wonder after it set me down. "Tapu Koko?!" the girl said in amazment.
It flew off, and the girl looked at me. "Oh, thank you for saving Nebby! I'm Lillie." She held out her hand to help me up. I smiled. "I'm (Y/N)."
1 year later.....
I am now the Champion of Alola. Lillie has gone to the Kanto region to become a trainer and help her mother. My rival, crush, and Lillie's edgelord brother, Gladion is the President of the Aether Foundation. My other rival, Hau is training constantly, and helping to reform the Team Skull grunts.
I looked at the Corsola. Wow... it's so cool looking! I swam to the surface, and took a deep breath. The hot Alola sun was shining. My current team of pokemon, were doing various things on the beach. Lycanroc was digging a sand castle, my new Torracat was soaking up the sunlight, my partner Primarina was in the water beside me, Oricorio practicing a cheer, and Ninetales watching her and Lycanroc's son, Gladiolus. Lillie has the other Vulpix, Snowy. Her partner pokemon, I had given her the egg before she left for Kanto. I sighed.
I turned to Primarina. "You about ready to get out?" She nodded. I got out, and dried myself with my (F/C) towel. "Everyone, return!" I went in the pokemon Center and changed into my Alola sea tank and green shorts.
I walked along a trail, just wandering around. There were some pikpek flying around, and a butterfree flew by. "Spear!"
I turned around in fear. "Spearow." I muttered. "Why do they hate me?!" It wasn't just one or two Spearow like usual, but a whole horde of them, with another horde of Fearow behind them.
"Oh... Arceus." I took off, sprinting along the trail. They were gaining on me, and the path would stop at a cliff. Ok, I've got two options. Face the Spearow and Fearow who hate me, or jump off a cliff. There are too many to fight, so....
I jumped off the cliff, and screamed. I closed my eyes. "What-" I opened them. "Oh, hello Gladion. I'm so sorry!" I quickly got off him, and helped him up.
He looked at me annoyed. "What are you doing falling out of the sky?" "Uh..." I blushed. "It was either that or fight like, 20 Fearow and Spearow. I figured a cliff had a better chance of survival."
He rolled his eyes. I determinedly looked at him and teased, "Battle me. I won't take no for an answer." "All right, Champion. But I won't lose!"
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
"I win again!" I grinned. Gladion shook his head. "How did I lose again?"
"Hey, you almost beat me. Wanna train with me?" Gladion looked at me in confusion. "But we're rivals." I looked at him, my heart beating. "Who cares? We can become stronger trainers if we share our battle techniques. Like how I always end battles with Primarina's Oceanic Operetta. It ends the battle really cool!"
Gladion smiled, the smile that always melts my heart, the smile I've only seen one other time. "All right, if you're sure it's OK..." "Yay!"
"So if you want to really throw someone off guard, use a pokemon that usually is weak against the opponent. For example, a Delphox against a Gyrados. I did that one time with my Delphox, and won the battle. You just need to take advantage of the other type." Gladion looked at me in surprise. "Wow, I didn't know that. Here, I've been meaning to give you this fellow."
He handed me a pokeball. I looked at him in surprise now. "A Type: Null?" "It's not mine." He explained. "I found it in the Aether labs, along with another. I wanted to thank you. For saving my Mother. And getting Lillie to smile. I've never seen her so happy before."
I smiled, touched. "Wow.. thanks Gladion!"
We trained all day, and Gladion gave me a weird look when I trained Gladiolus. "Lillie has the other egg," I explained, flustered. "she has the sister, and since you're Lillie's brother, the brother is named after you." Gladion shrugged, "Oh, that's, uh, cool." He pat Gladiolus's head. "Nice to meet you, Gladiolus." Gladiolus actually looks like Gladion. Since he's a boy Vulpix, he didn't like the usual mane style. His mother still tries to fix it, but he always shakes it back.
Me and Gladion trained until sunset, and then we each went our seperate ways. "Bye Gladion!" I shouted after him. He waved, and I headed home.
"Hey Mom, Sun." I went into my room. It was decorated with posters of my favorite shows and animes, Yuki Yuna is a Hero, Madoka Magica, others, and pictures of my friends. My blankets on my bed were(F/C) and (F/C 2). I had a adorable handmade Fluffle Puff (look it up) doll, and the Clefairy pokedoll Lillie had given me before leaving. My twin brother Sun had been watching Harry Potter and The Deathly Hallows Part 1. I would have sat down to watch it with him, but now is when I usually videochat with Lillie on my Rotomdex. "Hi, Lils!" I greeted when she appeared on the screen.
"(Y/N)! How are you?" I grinned. "Good. Today, I went swimming, ran from Spearow and Fearow, jumped off a cliff, landed on your brother-"
"Wait what? You jumped off a cliff? And landed on Gladion?" I sheepishly nodded. "You know that ever since the Mahalo Trail Bridge incident I've been terrified of Spearow. And they hate me, too!" "No, not that. You landed on Gladion?"
I blushed, and Lillie squealed. "(Y/N) and Gladion sitting in a tree-" "Sh-shut up. Not like I knew I would fall on him. I just jumped. He probably saved me from serious injury, anyway."
"Oh, (Y/N). I know you like my brother, and I so wanna tell him-" I opened my mouth to protest, but Lillie continued, "but I won't, because you're my best friend, and I respect your wishes."
I sighed in relief. "Thanks, Lils." Lillie smiled excitedly, "I have big news! Me and Mother are coming back to Alola in a couple days!" I squealed in excitement. "Yay! Lillie, I have missed you sooo much! We can have sleepovers all the time now, and battle, and, and-"
Lillie smiled happily. "I've missed you sooo much too, (Y/N)! We'll do everything you said. And Gladiolus and Snowy can finally see each other in person!"
I grinned excitedly. "Yeah! Oh! Lillie, I've got to go, now. Are you going to tell everyone else?" She nodded, and I grinned. "Then I've got a party to plan!"
"Bye then, (Y/N)! See you soon!"
"Bye Lils! I can't wait to see you!"
