Ch 2 Welcome Home

(Y/N)'s POV

My Type: Null had evolved into Silvally already, and it was helping me to hang a "Welcome Home" banner for Lillie and her mother.

"A little to the right, Silvally. Wait, your other right. Not so fast-!" I wobbled at Silvally's quick movements, and-

"Ow..." 

"(Y/N), would you please get off me?!"  I landed on Gladion, my face inches from his.I quickly scrambled up, blushing. My face probably looks like a tomato. "I am so so so sorry again, Gladion! Why does this keep happening?!"  I helped him up, and his face was tomato red too. "It's fine. Just, please, try not to fall on me again."

We both looked away for a moment, making sure no one saw that.  Hau held his phone, and was eagerly looking at the picture of us he had just taken. Gladion glared daggers at him, and started chasing him. "Hau! You better delete that!" Hau ran toward the Ruins of Conflict, a look of terror and mischief on his face. Gladion angrily chased after him.

I smiled, and giggled. 

Sun laughed. "There they go again!"

Gladion's POV

"Hau! Get back here!" "Not a chance!" "Get over here and I won't kill you!" "That only makes me want to run away even more!"

I sighed. This is pointless. "Fine!" I stopped chasing him. Hau stopped, and let out a sigh of relief. He put his hands in the air. "Lillie hired me to take pictures of everyone! It's not my fault that (Y/N) fell on you at the moment I took the picture!"

I sighed, defeated. I suddenly smirked and lunged at the phone. "What-" Hau said in surprise when I had the phone. "Yes!" I clicked on the picture, and turned red when I saw it. (Y/N)'s face was inches from mine, and if the viewer hadn't known it was by accident we were in this position, they'd think (Y/N) was trying to kiss me.

I shuddered, and erased the picture. "There, all done." I tossed the phone back to Hau. "Aw... Lillie would've liked that picture. It's cute."

I glared at Hau, who now had a look of terror on his face. I would've chased him again, if (Y/N) hadn't called from a tree above, "As fun as it is to watch this, we need your help back in Iki town. Would you two come on?"

I hadn't known (Y/N) was watching, and she had Rotom videotaping the whole thing. She leaped down from the tree and gracefully landed. "Come on."

She smirked at me, as if challenging me to chase her for videotaping that. "Lillie'll love this. Right Rotom?" I sighed. The three of us walked back to Iki town.

Hau's POV

I grinned as we walked back. What Gladion and (Y/N) don't know is that I had already sent the picture to Lillie....

(Y/N)'s POV

We had decorated all yesterday, and Lillie will be arriving soon. We continued decorating today, and I battled a challenger. The welcome home party would last well into the night, so I took a quick nap. Or so I thought...

I quickly opened my eyes, and looked at my alarm clock. "Oh Arceus I'm late!" I scrambled out of bed, and glared at the sleeping Meowth. "Thanks a lot, Meowth, for not waking me!" I muttered. I grabbed my bag, and raced out the door toward the docks.
