Lillie's POV
"I like, you Hau." I smiled at him. He had a big grin on his face. Sun looked kinda deflated. I frowned. "Sun, it's just... you've always felt like another brother to me and all. And I'm sure you'll find the right girl for you."
Sun grinned. "I'll take it. And Hau..." He turned to his friend. "I'm happy for you." Hau smiled. "Thanks buddy."
I smiled, and grabbed Hau's hand. He blushed, and we waved goodbye to a grinning (Y/N) and Sun.

(Y/N)'s POV
After Lillie and Hau had left, Sun turned to me. "We're totally gonna spy on them, right?" I grinned."Totally. I'll bring Gladion too."
Sun frowned. "You have a dark side." I smirked. "Nah, I'm just doing Lillie a favor. And getting my revenge for truth or dare....." Sun backed away from me. "Right now I am kinda glad I didn't walk out that door with Lillie. Hau's gonna be in for it when Gladion finds out." I nodded in agreement. "Poor Hau."

Gladion's POV
"What!?" I blurted after (Y/N) told me what happened. "I'm so gonna..."
"Easy, Gladion." (Y/N) said. "Get outta protective brother mode. We've got an idea."
"What?" "Well," Sun started. 'We're going to spy on them."

(Y/N)'s POV
We sat in the malasalda booth behind Lillie and Hau. "This is great, Hau." Lillie smiled."Yeah. I like being here with you again. This time as something more." Hau replied.
Gladion clenched his fists. I put my hands over his and smiled. He blushed, then, realizing what I just did, I blushed and put my hands back in my lap.
"I'm gonna go see if our malasaldas are ready yet." Hau stood up, and I put a newspaper in front of my face, Sun leaned down underneath the table as if picking somethin up, and Gladion-
"Gladion!" I whispered over to him. He quickly grabbed his newspaper disguise, but there was no time so I covered his face and mine with my newspaper.
His face was close to mine. "Sorry." I whispered to him, blushing. He smiled. "It's fine." When Hau went back to his and Lillie's table, we sighed in relief and put our newspaper down, and Sun sat up again.
"That was a close one." He whispered to us. We nodded in agreement.
"A sweet malasalda, for a sweet girl." Hau gave it to Lillie. Lillie giggled. "Oh Hau."
Sun and Gladion clenched their fists. I sighed. "Calm down, you two."
After they ate their malasaldas, Lillie and Hau went out the door. Holding hands.
We quickly got up and quietly went out the back door. Lillie and Hau sat together on a bench, looking at the stars now appearing.
The three of us hid in a bush. Gladion clenched his fists at how close the Lillie and Hau were sitting together.
"Lillie, I-" Hau started. The two slowly moved there faces together. Me and Sun held Gladion down, so he wouldn't interrupt the two.
A noise came from a nearby bush. Lillie and Hau quickly moved apart. "Who's there?" Lillie shouted.
The three of us hid closer together in our bush. A caterpie crawled out of a the bush that had moved. Hau and Lillie sighed in relief, but still looked suspicious. Lillie ran over to our bush.
"Aha! Found you." We slowly stood up out of the bush, brushing leaves and dirt off ourselves. Lillie and Hau glared at us.
"What are you doing?" Lillie asked. "Um..." I nervously started. "Spying on you guys. Duh." Sun said. Me and Gladion glared at him.
"What?" Sun replied. "They probably already figured it out on their own."
Lillie looked at me with a betrayed look. "(Y/N)? How could you?" I looked away from her.
"It was my idea!" Gladion blurted out. "After (Y/N) and Sun told me, I came up with it and dragged them into it."
Gladion was defending me? "No, it was my idea." I said. "Thanks though, Gladion."
He stubbornly frowned at me. "No (Y/N), it was my idea. Let me take the blame." "No, Gladion. It was completely my idea! You don't need to cover for me!" "But-"
Sun coughed. We both blushed, and turned back to the furious Lillie. She winked at me, then yelled at us, "You guys had no right to be here!"
"Yeah!" Hau nodded in agreement. Gladion glared at his sister. "And you have a right not to tell me someone asked you out?" "Well..." Lillie nervously started. The power in the argument had shifted.
Hau quickly covered for her, "We were gonna tell you... five years from now. When you probably wouldn't kill me." Gladion glared at him. "Uh.. that probably didn't help."
Lillie glared at her brother. "I didn't tell you because I knew you would react this way! And (Y/N), why did you decide to do this?"
"I helped come up with the idea, too!" Sun raised his hand. Lillie glared at him, then turned back to me. I lowered my head. "I'm so so so so eta. sorry, Lillie! We just were going to watch! We didn't mean to interrupt it!" She glared at me. "Sorry doesn't cut it!"
I sadly frowned. "I'm sorry. I hope one day you can forgive me, and- I'll understand if you want to find a new best friend."
I ran off toward my house, Lillie shouting as I ran off, "No wait (Y/N)! It's not like that!"
I went into my room and locked the door, and hid under my bed. I heard a knock on my window. I ignored it, and Lillie picked the lock on it and crawled in through it.
"I'm pretty sure that's called breaking and entering." I sarcastically joked. Lillie pulled me out from under my bed, and we sat on the floor.
"I'm sorry, (Y/N)." Lillie started. "I overreacted. Heh, I probably would've done the same if you were on a date with Gladion." I blushed at that comment, and replied, "It's my fault. I shouldn't have done what I did, and dragged Sun and your brother into it."
I glared at her. "But it was wrong of you not to tell Gladion!" She sighed. "Yes, it was. And because of it, I'm doing Gladion's chores for the next eight months."
I frowned. "Do you guys even have chores?" Lillie smirked. "No. I can't believe he fell for that."
"I didn't fall for it. I just wanted to be on speaking terms with you." Gladion came in through my window, with Hau behind him. I quickly grabbed my picture of him smiling (I had drawn a heart on it), and shoved it in my pocket.
Hau grinned. "Everything's good now." They sat on the floor with us. "Nice room." Gladion said, looking around. I blushed. "This is the first time you've every been here, huh?" "Yeah. Though next time, I plan to enter through the actual door." I giggled.
I stood up quickly and ran over and unlocked my door. Sun fell into my room. "Am I the only normal one?" We all laughed.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
What a fun time we had tonight. I lay in my bed after the others had left, and stared at my picture of Gladion I had shoved in my pocket earlier. I want things to stay just as they are, yet... I can't help wanting more between me and Gladion. I blushed, and drifted off to sleep.
