Ch 9 Layla vs Eclipse

(Y/N)'s POV

I followed L.A. as she told me the story of what happened. "Eclipse couldn't stand being a nobody in our world, so she decided she didn't want to live there anymore. Her parents thought she meant she was going to commit suicide, so they kept her locked in her room. That only led her to grow a hatred of them, and eventually she was, well, basically controlled by anger. She discovered the ultra wormhole, but not a single person believed her. They thought she was losing her mind or something. One day she just broke her window, and climbed out. She ran away."

L.A. looked down at this part. "Then she met me. I was living in the motel on Route 8, and she just barged in. She told me about her discoveries. I encouraged her on. She made me think I was her friend. But she tricked me. She just wanted a perfect world for her, she didn't care about me. I was so stupid and naïve...

I ended up here with her, and after then I realized what she had become. There was no going back for her. I was stuck here."

I frowned at the sad look on her face. "I thought you said you didn't have friends, L.A."

She glared at me. "Would you have trusted me if I told you all this before?!" She closed her eyes, and yelled at me, "This is all my fault!"

I backed away. L.A. sighed. "I don't mean to take all this out on you. It's just that-"

"I look like her, right? This can't be easy for you." I sadly looked at her. L.A. smiled. "Cheer up, kay? And call me Lillie, if you want."

I smiled enthusiastically. "Okay! But since I call the Lillie from my world Lils, I'll call you Layla instead!"

Layla frowned, but seemed kinda happy. "Whatever. I like that name better than Lillie, anyway."

We continued to walk on through this place. "I don't remember ultra space being so big." I curiously said. Layla smirked. "You never really explored past its boundaries." I nodded. "True."

Layla peered around the corner, the pressed me against the wall. "Don't move." We cautiously stood there, as five ultrabeasts zoomed by. Layla let go of me. "What was that about?" I asked. "All the ultrabeasts support Eclipse. If they saw you with me, they would have attacked us both."

I shivered. Layla smirked. "Well, all of them support Eclipse but my Nilhilego."

She pulled out a beast ball, and her Nilhilego came out. I smiled at it, and we continued to wherever we were going.

Gladion's POV

We arrived at the Alter of the Sun. "Here, huh?" I got off Nebby, and looked around. Lillie did too. "Why are we here, Nebby?"

There was a flash of light, and (Y/N) appeared. "(Y/N)!" me and Lillie shouted happily.

We ran over to her. "What- where- how- huh?" Lillie stammered. She smiled. "Don't worry about that. I'll tell you later."

She kissed me. I felt my face heat up. "(Y/N)?!" Lillie said confused.

"Get off Gladion! And quit impersonating me!" I turned to see a furious- "(Y/N)?!"

I looked back and forth at the two. Lillie screamed and pointed. "Wh-why is there another me!" The other Lillie grinned, "Hey, I'm on your side. Don't worry, just call me Layla. It's much easier than two of us."

Lillie fainted, and Layla frowned. "Definitely the opposite of me. I thought she would've taken it better."

The (Y/N) that had kissed me glared at Layla and (Y/N). "Lillie. I never would've thought you would betray me."

Layla glared back. "Look who's talking, Eclipse." I glared at them both. "Can someone please tell me what the heck is going on?!"

(Y/N) smiled. "Don't worry, Gladion. When this is over, I'll tell you everything. And we can finish what we started at the dance."

I blushed, and so did (Y/N). The other (Y/N), they called her Eclipse, pulled something out of her pocket. Bam!

"Layla!" (Y/N) screamed. Layla had dodged the bullet, and held up her gun. "You really wanna do this, Eclipse?!" Eclipse glared at her. "I don't need you. I don't need anyone! I will take over this world, and finally have the perfect world!!!!!!!"

Eclipse fired her gun at Layla, but always missed. Layla did the same, but her opponent seemed to always be one step ahead of her.

(Y/N) grabbed my hand. "We have to get out of here! Nebby grab Lillie! No, not that Lillie! The one currently fainted on the ground!"

We ran down the stairs. (Y/N) turned and screamed, "Layla!" Layla looked at her. Eclipse slyly grinned. And shot (Y/N).

(Y/N) fell in my arms. "(Y/N)!" I shouted at her. "Please wake up!" 

Eclipse smirked. "Chillax, it's just a tranquilizer dart."

She shot me too. "Find... Sun and Hau!" I shouted at Layla, as I fell, and my vision turned dark.

Interesting! Will Layla find Sun and Hau? What will happen to Gladion, (Y/N) and Lillie?
