Ch 11 The Final Battle

Lillie's POV

I had no idea where I was. I was in some sort of cell. Last I remember I saw- I turned around.

"You're me!" I pointed at the strange girl. "Don't scream!" She said. "You'll get us caught!"

I covered my mouth, and looked behind her. "Hau! Sun!"

"Lilllie! I barely have any idea what is happening too. Don't worry, it's not just you." Hau grinned. Sun frowned. "Are you okay?"

I shook my head. "Where am I?" "Ultraspace." Other me said. "Oh, and by the way, just call me Layla. It's much easier for the both of us."

"Ooo-kay." I shivered. "But why am I here?" Layla glared. "I'll tell you later. But if we want to make it out of here alive, we need to leave. Now." She picked the lock and opened the door. An alarm sounded. Layla cursed, and grabbed my hand and Sun's . "Come on!"

I pulled Hau along too, and we sped around a bunch of twists and turns. "Uh, Layla? Do you know the way out?" Sun nervously asked.

Layla glared, but looked uncertain. "Not exactly." "That's reassuring." Hau replied sarcastically. She shot him a withering glare, and he shut up. Poor Hau. I shot him a quick smile. "Don't worry Hau."

We rounded a corner, and came across an army of ultrabeasts.

"Oh, heck no." Layla facepalmed. "I'm so stupid! Now we're surrounded!"

Hau stood protectively in front of me. "I'll protect you, Lillie." I weakly smiled. "Thank you, Hau."

Sun stood in front of Layla. "Layla glared. "I can take care of myself!" Sun glared back. "I want to protect you!" "You don't know how to deal with these things!" "You're right!" "Don't be an idiot!"

Sun quickly leaned over to her and kissed her. Layla looked very surprised, but then kissed him back.

They both blushed, and Sun asked her, "If we survive this, will you go out with me?" "Fine."

I smiled. "You guys are cute together." Layla glared. "Don't push it."

Hau nervously looked back at the ultrabeasts. "Hate to interrupt this, but..."

(Y/N)'s POV

I hate Eclipse so much. This is just plain torture for Gladion! How should he know that I'm (Y/N) and not Eclipse. I sighed, this is hopeless...

Gladion looked back and forth between the two of us. I glared at Eclipse. She mimicked me, and I sighed.

Gladion made eye contact with me. Eclipse noticed, but Gladion was ready for that. He knocked the gun out of Eclipse's hand, and grabbed my arm and we charged out of the cell.

Eclipse cursed, then sounded an alarm. "How did you know I was me?" I asked Gladion. He smiled. "I'd recognize you anywhere, (Y/N)." I blushed, and we continued running.

We rounded a corner, and bumped right into- "Lillie! Layla! Sun! Hau!" I exclaimed. "Uh... you may want to see this, (Y/N)." Gladion pointed.

I looked, and stared in terror at the army of ultrabeasts in front of us. Eclipse walked up to us. "It's over, you six can't stop my army. Your world will bow to my power." She deviously smirked. I glared at Eclipse. "You're right. Just the six of us can't stop you, but with the help of our pokemon..." I snatched my bag from Lillie, who had been holding onto it for me. "Go! Primarina! Vulpix! Lycanroc! Silvally! Delphox! Mimikyu! We have to stop this!"

Layla stared at Eclipse, a look of pure hatred. "You were my friend, Eclipse! I should have stopped you in the beginning! But I suppose it's too late... So I have no choice!" Layla leaped past Sun and straight at Eclipse. She pulled a sword out of her belt (she has secret weapons?!), and started to attack Eclipse, but she was ready. "It's time to finish what we started, eh 'Layla'?" Eclipse mockingly said while dodging Layla's sword. "Then that's how it will be."

The battle started, and the others called out their pokemon to help. Even Rotom popped out to help. "Let me join, too!" it protested to me. "I can fight too!"

"Rotom, but you're in a pokedex-" "Not anymore!" I quickly grabbed the pokedex, as Rotom zoomed off to join the battle.

I sighed, and barely dodged an attacking ultrabeast. Gladion grabbed my hand, and pulled me onto his Silvally. He smiled at me. "Hang on, (Y/N)!"

I blushed as I hung onto Gladion. He probably was too, but he just stared ahead, telling Silvally attacks.

I looked toward Layla. She had Eclipse pinned against the wall. "It's over, Eclipse. Your reign of terror is over."

The whole battle seemed to stop, watching the two. "Eclipse smirked. "So you think. Guzzlord, attack the boy!"

I turned in terror to see Guzzlord lunge at Gladion. It pinned him against the wall. "Gladion!" I screamed. I put my hand over my mouth.

Eclipse smirked at Layla, and I noticed she had an insane look in her eyes. "Let me go, or the boy dies!"

Layla glared at her, a look of indecision. "Are you crazy Eclipse!" "She kinda looks that way!" Sun shouted.

Gladion had a pained look on his face. "I can't take this." I muttered.

I leapt at the creature. "Leave Gladion alone!" I hung on as tight as I could, and then Guzzlord flung me across the room.

Eclipse insanely grinned. "You fool!"

Time seemed to slow down. I saw Gladion run toward me, shouting my name, and my friends had a look of terror. Layla glared at Eclipse. "This is over Eclipse!" She slammed the handle of her sword at Eclipse's head. It wasn't a killing attempt, but Eclipse slumped on the floor.

I hit the wall, and my vision turned black.
