"THEIR EVERYWHERE! THE ZOMBIES! MOVE OUT! EVACUATE!" The principal shouted orders.
You felt oddly calm, and helped your best friend, Julia escape the classroom with your panicking classmates. What's wrong with them?! If they panic, bad things will surely happen!
You glanced around, eyes wide and watchful, for signs of zombies, but there were only running students. "(Y/N), I'm scared!" Julia whispered, grabbing on to your arm.
"We'll stick together," You promised, hoping you wouldn't get separated. I wouldn't lose Julia if I had a choice.
"(Y/N), remember that katana you brought in your locker?" Julia asked hopefully.
Oh yes! You did bring a katana to school, but only to show her, nothing more. "We have to get it!" You decided.
You and Julia ran to your locker and began unlocking it. Some people tried getting in their lockers as well, but you're the only one to bring weapons to school, at least you think so.
You pulled the katana out by its blue handle and carried it while you and Julia went straight for the exits.
"Mr. Grey, Mr. Grey! Tom!" One of the teachers screamed. "Their coming inside! We need reinforcements! The students cannot leave, it's too dangerous!"
"EVERYONE GO BACK TO YOUR CLASS AND HIDE, THEIR COMING INSIDE!" The principal's voice spoke through the speaker.
"Hurry, Julia! We obviously won't be safe when we can't see anything," You realized. "We need to go to the highest floor."
"How can you be so calm?!" Julia shrieked, as you dragged her upstairs. "At a time like this?! How!?"
"No time for that," you replied sternly. "We've got to go up!"
"You stupid nerds think you know everything!"
Ugh. Kevin. At a time like this. You rolled your eyes and kept climbing the stairs, dodging panicking people. Then, you felt a pull and realized Kevin was trying to take your katana.
"ONLY SURVIVORS GET THOSE!" He bellowed, using all his strength.
You kicked him down the eight steps you and Julia went up. She gazed at you in horror, but didn't stop.
There were four floors and the top one had medicine. Sure, the second floor held the cafeteria, but you had lunch an hour ago.
(Your POV)
Julia and I hurried to the fourth floor, and then the roof. "I'll keep watch fo the zombies, Julia. You go get some medicine. After all, your Mom did teach you about medications and stuff," I said.
"Okay, okay," Julia said, starting to calm. "But we probably need more people in our group. How about Destiney... And probably Gavin. And don't forget Landon, he'd good at sniping."
And Jay... I thought, blushing. "What about Jay?" When Julia raised her eyebrows, I stammered, "B-because he's good at g-giving out supplies and knowing what's what."
"Oh, fine. But how will we find them?" Julia fretted.
I pulled some blue-dyed hair out of my eyes. "I'll call them," I responded grimly, holding up my phone.
"Okay."
When Julia left, I crouched on the trapdoor to the ladder and called Jay first. "Who is this!?" Jay asked suspiciously.
