When the song ended, me and Noah slowly separated. We stood apart and looked at each other. as reality settled in. It's strange how we have come to this point. Everything that happened has led us to this very moment.

I was the first to look away. I walked past him. I made my way up the stairs and out of the door. As I descended the outside staircase, I looked out and saw there was a forest. When I came to ground level, I made my way to the forest. I looked up and see the stars were out as well as the full moon. I closed my eyes and soaked in the power the moon gives to my wolf.

I heard a door burst open. I turned around and looked back at the building to see a panting Noah. His eyes targeting me. I looked back at him and gave a small smile in encouragement. I turned around and kept walking to the forest.

As I was walking and appreciating the beauty of nature, I knew that Noah was following, which was my intention. I needed to be with him alone. I kept walking and walking till I came to an opening. An opening that is a cliff.

I stood on the edge and looked down. It was very very high. It overlooked a big valley of forest as far as the eyes would see. I could even see the lake from here, glistening in the moonlight. It was all so beautiful.

I took a step back and turned around. I saw Noah looked up at the full moon. His jaw clenches his chest moving up and down in a fast rhythm. It was like watching him fight himself.

I took a step towards him, "You can feel, can't you. The power radiating from the moon."

He did not say anything. And I didn't expect him to, I turned around and faced the view. I was still confused about where we stood with each other. I closed my eyes and sighed. What a mess. Everything is a big unfinished puzzle.

I felt a warm hand touch me arm, softly pulling me towards him. Then my breath hitched when I felt his hand cup my cheek with the most gentle touch. I opened my eyes to see Noah staring at with his beautiful blue eyes. I leaned in and smelled his scent. But then I suddenly frowned when I smelled a hint of something else. A hint of my own scent. I frowned in confusion. I reached up his jacket and opened it. I saw something white tucked in his inside pocket. I pulled it out and my eyes widened in shock.

"This was mine...I-I-I gave it to you when you saved me from that rogue." I looked back up at him, "You kept it." I whispered.

His eyes instantly dropped his hard exterior and they softened, "I've carried it everywhere I went since the day you gave it to me."

I couldn't believe it. He kept this all of this time. "I'd of thought that you would have put it away."

"No...the scent...your scent...it always calmed." I couldn't believe he was saying these things. It was not like him to talk about something so personal.

He stepped closer to me. I could feel myself getting a little hot with my heart beating really fast.

"I have been a bloody bastard to you Mia. I knew there was a connection between us the very minute I saw you. But it scared me because I never felt anything like that before. It confused me because it was foretold that I was never to have a mate."

I frowned, "Why?"

Noah closed his eyes and took a deep breath. He was silent for a minute, "Because. I am a lycan, the last lycan in the world."

I didn't know what to say. My mouth dropped open and my eyes widen in shock. I thought they were extinct?

"Back when me and Xander were trapped in that prison for boys. The leader, was a sick and twisted pedophile. He liked boys. I was a scared little kid back then, but I was big for my age. Something he noticed. When he chose me to be his special little boy...everyone assumed the worst. But that was not the case. They chose me to study me. They knew my size was unatural and they wanted to know why. They did experiments. They cut me open. Tested on me. They wanted to know what was special about me so than they make their own males bigger, faster, make them the elite of the wolf world. But me and Xander escaped before they could finish their research. I was angry for being a Lycan. I blamed the lycan inside of me for the pain and torture sessions I endured for years."
