NOAH: Her Forbidden Beast

*CHAPTER 41*

MIA

Here I am, still naked in Noah's bed, but he's gone. Solomon said they were requesting to see him, he had no choice. I know that. But that doesn't make it hurt any less than it does right now. 

I am sitting on his bed, holding a sheet to my chest. I am trying to not cry, I've already cried enough. But do you ever cry enough when your mate is getting taken off you in order to marry another woman. I sighed, this whole situation is so twisted to me. 

A knock sounded at the door. My eyes widen in fright. My heart beating fast. Please tell me it isn't her. The door opened to reveal Lizzy. I sighed in relief. 

She closed the door quietly behind her. She looks at my state and she understood what happened last night, "Oh Mia. I'm so sorry." Lizzy said with hurt for me in her eyes. 

I took a deep breath. No need to cry, "I know," I whispered, "What are they doing?" 

Lizzy made her way to the bed and sat next to me, "Noah and Xander are having a meeting with Alpha Kendrick and his daughter, Sophie."

I nodded my head. 

"Mia, it's okay to feel pain. It's okay to cry because there is not amount of crying that could ever be enough for the loss of a mate."

"I know. It's just, I feel like all I've done is crying, b-b-because all I've b-b-been th-th-thinking is about losing him. And it seems that I a-a-already have." The tears fall down my face. I held my hand over my mouth and close my eyes. My body raking with silent sobs.

"Oh Mia." Lizzy said. She comes closer to me and she holds me. She runs her fingers through my hair as I cry, "I didn't see Xander for most of my pregnancy with Xavier. He had to pretend to be dead because of this big war with his enemy. I didn't see till the day I went into labour. And then after that I was cursed, by his enemy, never to see Xander again."

I sat up and looked at her through my glassy eyes, "How long was till you saw him again?"

"Four years. I didn't see Xander or Xavier for four years. It was heartbreaking. I cried almost everyday at some point because I thought about my boys everyday. Wondering if they have forgotten about me, or if they stilled loved. But they never forgot about me. And they still loved me."

"How did you get out of the curse?"

"There was a loophole. Xander had to believe that some how I was still alive. That I didn't die. But I couldn't help him, he had to realize all on his own. And he did. Then I was free."

"Wow. You have quite the story."

She smiles, "Yes, but that's not the point. What I was trying to say was that I understand the pain of not being with your mate knowing he is still alive out there and that you have every right to cry as much as you want."

I nodded my head in understanding. "Was there anyone else that came with Kendrick here."

"Yes. A lot of his pack did. I guess it is necessary considering there will be a wedding."

"I guess," Then a thought came to my mind, "Did you see an old lady come at all? She has long white hair, always in a plait? Bright blue eyes?"

Lizzy frowned and tried to remember, "I'm not sure. I can't see to recall anyone like that."

"Maybe a has a big blonde guy around her?"

Then the Luna's eyes widen, "Oh yes! I did actually! She is the piano player for the wedding."

I couldn't help, but smile in excitement, "That's my piano teacher! I'm sorry Luna, but I have to go find them. They were practically family to me!"
