MIA

Before I could even reply, Noah was mind linked. Once he focused on me he said, "We have to leave, there are rogues gathering at the northern boarder. Take Keith and go back to the pack."

Noah immediately shifts into his wolf and runs into the wolf. I look at Kieth and sees he's staring in concern. "Whats happening Mia?"

I get up and rush to Kieth, "We have to go back to the pack, Kieth. Come on." I grab a hold of his hand and walk back to the pack.

"Where did Father go?" He asked.

"There was an emergency and he had to leave." Kieth nodded in understanding.

When we finally walked back, it started to snow again. I sighed, when is this gonna stop? I saw the other kids playing the snow and creating snowballs.

Kieth's eyes grew light with excitement. He looked up at me, "Can I please go to and play." I looked up at the kids playing. I wasn't sure if it was safe enough to be playing like this outside in the open.

I looked back down, "Mind link your father and ask."

Kieth nodded his head. He closed his eyes and started to concentrate. I couldn't help, but smirk at him. He looked so cute trying to focus with his eyes closed. Adorable little kid he is.

Once he opened his eyes he looked straight up at me, "He said it was okay as long as you were there."

I nodded my head, "Okay, let's go play then."

I walked to the kids while Kieth was running towards them. I stood there while watching the kids play in the snow. They all looked so cute. Their faces were pale, but their cheeks and noses were red from the cold. They were having a snowball fight. They really wanted me to play,  but I said that I would set it out for this round. After they got bored of playing snowballs, they flopped into the snow making snow angels and were complaining about what else they should do now.

"Why don't we slide down the snowy hill!" One of the kids exclaimed. All of them yelled out in agreement and were standing up, getting ready to slide. One of the boys ran off to get a big tray to slide down.

I frowned. All of this had become quite familiar. Maybe because I did it when I was little.  I couldn't help, but feel this tugging at the back of my mind like I've been here before, playing with the same kids, playing the same game, and sliding down the same hill. But something happened, or is going to  happen maybe. But I couldn't remember whether it was good or bad? I was so confused.

The little boy came back with a big tray and all of the children jumped in excitement. He jumped on it and was the first to slide down the hill. All the kids began to argue about who was going next. As each kid slid down one by one, my heart started to beat fast in a panic and I didn't know why. My head started to hurt too. Why do I feel like this.

Kieth ended up jumping on the Slide. He looked back at me and smiled. "Come slide down after me Mia!" He shouted. Then he disappeared down the hill.

Once one of the kids gave the tray to me, I sat down on it. I tucked Kieth's jacket under my shirt to make sure no snow would wet it. I started to feel myself sliding down the hill. As I went faster and faster, I couldn't help, but laugh because of the adrenaline of the speed. Once I stood up at the bottom, all the kids were cheering for me.

"You were so good Mia!" Kieth said.

I laughed because I don't know how you cannot be good at sliding a slid on snow, it's something you are bad at.
