The Baby Doll Fic

The Feeling's Mutual (Babydoll's POV)

I paced around the house, debating on the outfit I was going to be wearing. I didn't wanna look like I tried too hard, but I didn't want to look like a bum either. 

I look at my watch. It's 10:55 already? Oh shoot. Ehh, I look fine. Time to go.

I get to the coffee shop and order a soy latte as I wait for Patrick's arrival. I take a seat on the couch and play on my phone. Just then, Patrick arrived. He was looking around to try to find me until our eyes met. I couldn't help but show a really wide smile on my face. He grinned back and walked over to greet me. Why am I like this? I'm just so happy.

"Hey Patrick," I said as soon as he sat next to me. I wasn't sure whether or not to give him a hug or not. Is that too awkward?

"Hey Babydoll. Did you already get yourself a coffee? Or do you want me to get you one? Or-" I cut him off. "Yeah, I just bought one. It's alright you don't have to buy me anything."

"Okay. I'm just making sure." He smiled to himself. "So what have you been up to since we last talked?" Patrick tried to continue the conversation so it wasn't so short.

"Well we just talked last night so, really nothing. I'm guessing the same for you too?"

"Just started setting up the apartment for you, so you can have a clean room." He replied.

I could tell something was on his mind, but I wasn't sure if I should say anything about it. "Wow thanks, I can help with the rest since it's gonna be my room."

Patrick had an anxious expression on his face. "Haha. Okay..." He looked down and paused. "Umm... So I have to tell you something."

"What is it?"

"I.... Uh," He looked back up at me then looked down again. "Never mind."

I'm kinda concerned. What's he going to say? "Wait, tell me!"

He proceeded to look up and gaze into my eyes. "Honestly, you're really beautiful. And... I think I have a crush on you."

What'd he just say? Wait WHAT? As all of these things are flowing through my head, I can feel my face getting red. Oh my lord, it needs to stop. AHHH! All my emotions need to stop.

"Oh. Are you okay?" Patrick says to me with a concerning look. "I knew I shouldn't have said anything. I'm so stupid."

"Wait! No Pat, I didn't expect you to ever say that. I hoped you would, but that was just like a dream." I bleated.

Patrick stared at me with complete and utter confusion. "What?"

"Well... As a matter of fact, I kina have a crush on you as well." I surveyed his face. His look went from being very perplexed to happiness as soon as I conveyed my emotions.

"Now that our feelings are out in the open for each other," He grabs my hands, "Would you like to be my BabyDoll?"

"But Patrick, I already am your babydoll." I giggled.

"So, that means your my girlfriend?" He retaliated. This boy haha.

"Yes dummy," I smirked.

Patrick was so thrilled, he gave me the biggest hug I've probably ever received. "Well BabyDoll, I think we shall go and get your things from Andy's so you can move in." He stood up and held out his hand so I could hold it and we walked to grab my suitcase.

After getting my things and heading over to Patrick's, I started unpacking and placing my clothing into the dresser. His apartment is actually pretty big. No wonder he needed a roommate.

He walked into my room. "Stop what you're doing right now and come with me!" he bursted out as if something was on fire.

"Um okay?" I replied to him. We walked out of his apartment and got into his car. "Where are we going?"

"It's a surprise." Well thank you Patrick for explaining it to me.

"Paaaaaaaatrickkkk!! Please tell me where we're going!" I yelled.

"We're here." He grinned.

We parked right in front of a frozen yogurt place. That is like my favorite dessert ever. "YAY! Fro-Yo"

As we walked in I immediately heard that they were playing MCR. All I could say is that this is like the best day ever.

We got our fro-yo and took off again. Where? I have no clue.

Slowly approaching an unfamiliar park, I spot a dog. "Patrick, LOOK at the dog it's so cute." Then I see another. And another.

"Hope you like dogs as much as I do." Patrick said while getting out of the car. Honestly, he is the best person I think I've ever dated. It's so simple that no one would think to bring someone to a dog park. That place is the best place ever. YOU GET TO PLAY WITH DOGS FOR FREE.

Finally, after about an hour of just playing with the dogs, we decided to head back home. Today was a success.
