"Man, I hope Pete isn't too mad at me." I get out of my car and knocked on Andy's door.
"Hold on a sec" Andy's voice was faint. *click click* "Hey bud, so glad you could make it. Come in, I'd like you to meet a few people."
As we're walking around to meet some of his relatives and other close friends, someone walked out of the kitchen. She was beautiful. Short, brown hair. Gorgeous hazelnut eyes. And without realizing it, Andy and I walked over to go talk to her.
"Patrick, I'd like you to meet Dani, my cousin."
Dani. Wow, such a beautiful name.
"Hey Patrick, it's nice to meet you." She said while reaching out to shake my hand.
"It's nice to meet you too." I smiled and she smiled back. I took her hand nervously, trying to hide my anxious expression.
It was time for all of us to sit at the table for dinner.
"Thank you all for coming to Meredith's and I's engagement dinner." Andy went on talking.
"Where's Pete" Joe whispered to me.
"I have no clue, he was pretty angry when I talked to him a couple hours ago. I thought he would show up." I whispered back. I can't let him know about the delivery.
"Alright everyone, hope you all enjoy the food." Andy said as he sat down.
Wow, thats's a lot of vegan food.
After dinner, we all hung out at Andy's house. I sat on the couch with Joe and we had a really boring conversation, until Dani sat down right in between us.
"Oh hey Dani. Whuddup" I say, trying to act cool.
She giggled and asked Joe if we could be alone.
"Haha, alright" Joe smirked and walked away, starting another conversation with Andy.
"So, I noticed you had a My Chemical Romance phone case," she grinned, inching closer, "I really like that band."
"Oh uhh yeah. They're pretty cool" I returned the grin, feeling my heart begin to race. "What's your favorite song?"
"Famous Last Words, obviously, Gerard Way's voice in it is beautiful just like in all of his songs." Dani gushed. She seemed like a total fan girl. And I kinda like that. "What about you patrick?"
"That is actually one of mine as well."
Dani clicked her tongue, "Noice."
