The Baby Doll Fic

Twister (BD's POV)

I know that I shouldn't have lied to Patrick about my birth control incident, but what was I suppose to tell him? That I've been distant because I didn't want to slip up and say I've been sleeping with his best friend while he was in prison? Yeah, I think not. At least with this, he'll believe it without being suspicious anymore.

Anyways, today Patrick and I are having my cousin and friends over since he hasn't seen them in a while. I'm a little nervous due to the fact that Pete is coming over as well. Hopefully, nothing too bad happens.

"Oh, babydollll!! You almost ready to go!?" Patrick yelled to me across the apartment.

"Yeah, lemme put my shoes on!"

"Hurry up. I wanna go!"

"Jeez, babe all we're getting is board games." I laughed, walking out of the bedroom.

We headed out to Pat's car and drove to the Target down the road. Once we arrived, I grabbed a cart then Patrick and I went straight to the game section.

"What about cards against humanity?" I asked.

"Put it in the cart... Oh sweet, they have twister? I haven't played that in years." He said to himself while putting both games in the basket.

"Maybe monopoly?" I suggested.

"No, that game ruins friendships." That's not the only thing that ruins friendships...

"What about battleship?" I asked, holding the box.

He grabbed the game from my hands and had a huge grin on his face, "Perfect!"

"I think that should be enough, right?"

"Hell yeah! Now let's go check out so we can set up everything and cook some snacks before they all come over. Babydoll, I'm so excited."

"You act like such a kid, I swear Patrick." I laughed.

We drove back to the house and got everything ready. I was finishing my call with the pizza place asking if they had any vegan options (surprisingly they did), when I heard a knock on the door. "I got it, babe," I said.

I opened the door and of course, look who it is. "Uh, hey Pete."

"What up Bay bee dolllll? Where's Trick?" He let himself in and shut the door.

"He's in the bathroom, showering."

"Have you said anything to him? You know... About us?" He pondered, seeming a bit anxious.

"No, I haven't. He was getting a little suspicious of me and I had to lie and say I was on my period."

"Oh, good. So, what do you guys have to eat? I'm hungry." He asked quickly changing the subject.

"Well I have pizza on the way, and I think we have some chips you can eat right now if you want." I walked into the kitchen and grabbed the chips out of the pantry. Then I felt a hand squeeze my butt. And I turned around quickly with the chips in my hand, facing Pete, our bodies almost pressed closely together.

He took them out of my hand. "Thank you Dani" then winked and smiled at me then proceeded to walk out of the kitchen. I started blushing.

"Hey who's here Babydoll? Oh, shoot what's going on Pete!?" Patrick came out of the room.

"Hey Trick! How was prison?" Pete asked jokingly.

Patrick rolled his eyes at him and they bro-hugged. He looked in my direction and raised an eyebrow, "Babydoll, why is your face bright red?" 

I took a deep breath and grinned, "Just laughing about a joke." 

"What joke."

"I don't remember, I guess I'm Stumped." I retorted quickly, slapping my knee like it was genuinely funny.
