Patrick and I have been together for the past two months, and it's been incredible. Everyday has been like a dream. He treats me so well, unlike the boys I've dated in the past.

Today Patrick is inviting one of his close friends over for dinner.

"BABYDOLL!! Is dinner almost ready? Pete will be here soon." Patrick yelled from the bathroom. I decided that I was gonna cook instead of eating out. It's much healthier and easier than finding a restaurant with decent vegetarian options.

"Yeah, I'm almost done. Just waiting on the garlic bread in the oven," I said as he walked out of the room drying his hair with a towel. "You didn't do your hair babe." I started running my fingers through his hair. He smirked while wrapping his arms around my waist and kissing me repeatedly.

As we were basically making out, a knock on the door followed by "Yo Trick, lemme in!" stopped us. I guess his friend is here.

Patrick walked over to the door to open it and his friend walked in "Hey Pete. How have you been? It's been a while." He closed the door.

"Yeah. I've been great. What you cookin'? Smells great." Pete looked around the apartment and he looked over to the kitchen to see me. "Oh, this is the girl you were talking about." He continued to walk around and sat down on the couch.

"Pete, I'd like you to meet Dani." Patrick brought me over to him and I shook his hand. He took my hand and returned the gesture. His grip was firm, yet so gentle.

"Nice to meet you, Pete." I jested. He just kinda stared into my eyes and grinned.

"Well it's great to meet you too."

I saw that the bread was done, so I walked over to the kitchen, and bent down to get the pan out of the oven. "Hope you like pasta and garlic bread." Patrick went over to where I was to help me bring the food over to the dinner table.

We all sat down and dug into the food, with a bit of an awkward silence.

I decided to start a conversation. "So how long have you two known each other?"

"Wow," He looked over to Pete. "I've known him for years babydoll. He's always has had my back and vice versa."

"Yeah. I have always had his back." Pete emphasized on 'I'. He then continued to eat. What did he mean?

After dinner, Pete, Patrick, and I all decided to watch a movie. So, as Patrick tried to set up the DVD player, Pete helped me dish out some ice cream. I went to get the bowls, but I couldn't reach. I was standing on my tippy toes, failing to grab one of the bowls and I felt Pete press up against me, almost making me bend over on the counter. He went and grabbed the bowls that I couldn't get. Pete handed me them and our eyes met. Pete looked down at me and smirked. "I was just helping get the bowls bay-bee dollll."

I gave him a disgusted look and went to the freezer to get the rocky road ice cream. We finished dishing out the ice cream and all sat on the couch to watch Ghostbusters. I made sure to sit away from Pete. Just in case he wanted to try anything else. There's something about him that I shouldn't trust.

Throughout the movie I felt Pete look over at me several times and towards the end of the movie, Pete got up and said that he had leave. "Well, thanks for having me over you guys."

Patrick and I also stood up and Patrick replied with "Yeah, anytime." They bro-hugged and Pete walked over to me.

"It was very nice meeting you, Dani" He then hugged me as well and he pressed against me again. I looked over to Patrick and he was on his phone, not paying attention to this. I pushed him off of me and he smiled. "See ya later, you guys." Patrick followed him out saying that they needed to talk privately.

After they shut the door, I felt my cheeks heat up. Why am I blushing? No, I don't like Pete. Oh lord, what is going on? I finally felt my face cool just as Patrick comes back inside.

"How'd you like Pete babydoll?" He asked me. Should I tell him that he kinda creeped me and that I don't trust him? No, that's his best friend, that would crush him. He'd probably feel like he would have to choose between the two of us.

"Oh, yeah. He's...great. Really great. I like him, he seems like a good friend."

Patrick smiled very wide and seemed happy. "I'm so happy you think that Pete is great because he might be coming over more." We hugged and said he'd be going to bed.

"I'll meet you there, lemme just clean up a bit." I replied. Yikes.
