~Yukio's POV~

After Kira got her flames sealed, we were finally able to leave. I noticed that she had a strange relationship with Mephisto. Even so, it was obvious he loved her. I could also tell she looked up to him in many ways.

We spent the rest of the day shopping and finding decent clothes for Kira. Rin being the pervert he was kept picking out revealing clothes for her to wear. It did draw attention to Kira's great boo- anyways. I picked her out some decent clothes and necessities and also her uniform for the Academy.

We were about to get to our last stop which was a small shop on the edge of town. Rin was talking and walking ahead with Kira, her clinging on to my arm. Kira stopped suddenly as the doors of the shop slid open."Come on, Kira. This is the last stop," I tried to encourage her but her face was completely stale. She shook her head briskly, "Kira, we don't have time for messing around!" I dragged her in. She hissed slightly, clinging on to my arm even tighter. It left me wondering, what actually got into her?

"Well, it sure is quiet. I've never been to this store before," Rin said whilst looking through the magazines.

"Brothers, please, we must leave. It's not good here," Kira said, gripping her cloak. "Brothers please!" she whined.

I ignored her, slipping my hand from her grasp to look through the groceries. She stood sour faced next to me, "Yukio, please! We have to go, right now."

"Yeah, yeah, I'll just pay for this," I said as I picked up a carton of milk but suddenly, the doors slammed and locked. I looked around. How was I so clueless? Coal Tars floated busily around us. There was a demon here. I readied my gun, pulling Kira behind me. "Oh, now you listen to me. Big idiot" she pouted in her child-like nature.

"Kira, now isn't the time to be joking around," I said bluntly. Rin was also on guard, his arms readying to swing round and take his sword out. Suddenly, the fridge door behind us swung open, sending out two large tentacles which grasped Kira.

"AH! Yukio!" she cried before being locked behind the fridge door. She thumped furiously at the glass, the sounds muffled.Rin ran over but before he could break the glass, it began to freeze. Large ice crystals spreading over the glass, Kira's blue eyes behind it filling with worry. I looked at Rin and realised we shared the same look, "Yukio, you have to kill the demon," he said as if it was the most obvious thing in the world.

Kira was held back and the tentacles were wrapping tight around her waist. She kept struggling, everything she was saying was being muffled behind the ice. I loaded my gun and Rin and I split up, walking slowly around the isles. I was the first to see it, a swarm of Coal Tar's buzzing around a shadowy man.

As I stepped closer, he spun around. I readied my gun, pointing for his head."Welcome, how may I help you?" it said in a possessed voice. I shot quickly, hitting it in the head. The demon fell back but slowly arched it's back and stood up again. "No violence in the store," it said, slightly deeper than before. I shot it again, right through the heart. Nothing. It didn't even flinch."NO VIOLENCE!"

Rin hurried over, "Yukio, that's not the whole demon. There's more. I looked around and the tentacles were closing in from all sides."

"I've never seen a demon like this," I said, pushing my glasses up my nose. "We have to find its heart. Lets go get Kira."

Rin swung his closed sword, running forward whilst I shot the tentacles coming from behind us. We continued running and slammed into the fridge that Kira was being held in. Kira banged on the glass from the inside but the tentacles quickly wrapped around her again. "Brothers, the demon is..." and she was pulled back into the fridge.Within a moment, Kira was struggling and kicked through the glass, her flames were alight and she glowed. "the demon is the whole store. It's heart is in the floor, we have to draw it out. Destroy the products" she gripped onto Rin who was there to hold her up. She gripped her sword and started to smash the shelves. "We gotta draw it out of hiding."

Rin and I joined her and smashed multiple products, causing the ground to shake more. "Kira, you're a genius," I smiled over at her as she continued to destroy the stock of the shop. The ground eventually came to a crescendo of shaking. I ran to protect Kira, remembering the promise I made to Rin earlier. She readied her sword. "In God's name, we pray. In Holy Light bathe the humbled," she was chanting its death verse. She continued fluently, "May the light bring the strength to the Holy Light of God and break the chain of -" The beast shot more tentacles for her but I quickly shot them away as she chanted. It's large melting body busted through the tiled floor. She drew her sword, letting her flames light up, "- May thou seek forgiveness in the land of the Holy," she jumped forward, stabbing the heart of the demon, "and breathe the darkness of thou sins." With the last line, the demon let out a horrifying squeal before combusting and disappearing. Kira turned around, covering her sword with a smirk as Rin and I looked at her with a shocked expression.

"Woah, Kira! That was awesome, when did you learn to do that?" Rin said with an excited smile.

She giggled, "You can learn a lot in Gehenna. Plus, Mephisto taught me when I was younger." She turned to walk out, "You can't expect any less from a first class exorcist. Come on brothers, lets go home."She was so clueless about everything, yet, she could destroy a demon without even batting an eyelash. She sure is a special one.
