Rin's POV~

we were all by the fountain as usual. renzo was trying to balance a spoon on his nose and bon was try to hide his laughter with deep huffs. it was just a normal spring day as i sipped a juice box between each laugh. me and bon had completely forgotten, the incident that happened in class. i guess we honestly didnt care what happened or what was said. it's not like i haven't been called a demon before and it's something that will always be said, so i let it roll off my shoulder.

it was silent for a moment then konekomaru spoke up, "umm... rin, where's kira?"

then it hit me, i hadn't seen her since class. i thought she would be following us. i looked around quickly she was no where to be seen.

SMASH!!

a loud crash came from the main tower of the school building. my ears pricked as i turned to see. it was hard to explain, but my stomach turned. call it an instinct, i knew this was bad. "Kira..." i left my bag by the fountain and ran full speed towards mephitos office.

"Rin, where the hell are you going!" bon shouted from the distance. i looked back for a moment but looked up at the tower. somethings wrong. the main entrance of the school was packed with students leaving for lunch, it would be impossible to get through there. i took a deep breath my nose twitched. The fumes of blood filled my lungs "blood? " i started through the crowded hall. pushing past the other students. I got to the main stair case and sprinted my way to the top floor. My lungs felt like collapsing as I reached the floor. I walked quickly and reached for the handle of the large door but stopped.

"She's a monster sir. There's no hope for her anymore. I fear the safety of not only me but also rin. She should be dealt with before he gets too attached to that demon."

" Yukio, this is just anger talking. You can't seriously be thinking about sending kira back. She's not safe there. She's your sister. "

" she should be contained sir. There's no way to escape the danger she possesses. I will personally handle the matter of her. "

My hand trembled with anger. I can't believe what he's saying. I pushed the door open. Letting it slam against the wall as I stormed in. " Yukio you're a lying asshole. What the hell is wrong with you?! " I yelled. Yukio went to speak but I continued. " she's not dangerous. You're always victimising her. Always pushing her away . She's your sister . If she should be dealt with. I guess I should be too." I looked at the blood on his jacket. And paused. "How did that happen?"

" she bit me . She's dangerous" he said stepping away.

" you set her off again didn't you. You know she can't control herself. She's more demon than even me. You know the risks and you didn't think about it."

Mephistio opened his game and started playing not looking up as us.

"He's right you know" mephistio spoke up. for once Mephistio took my side. "you know kiras fears and triggers and you fail to take them into account."

I looked from Yukio to the smashed window. " where did she go?" I said walking towards the gusty ledge. "Did she jump out?" Yukio nodded. He was awfully quiet. Being told he was wrong would do that to him. "I'm going after her. she could be hurt" I gripped my sword and took a few running steps before leaping out into the wind.

"Rin, No!" Yukio shouted after me.

~Kiras POV.

I arrived home. Still out of breath from all the running and climbing I did to get here unseen. I've never felt so alone. Tears flowed down my cheeks as I climbed through the open window of my room. I can't believe Yukio would do that to me. My hands still trembled in fear. I can't control myself anymore. I stood in the middle of my silent room. My head was such a mess. I don't know what to do anymore. I kicked off my boots and pulled off my uniform. i hate this damn place i thought to myself. I caught a glimpse of myself in the mirror as i reached for my pajama top.
