Why [on hold]

It was Friday. After school I went to my room. I was really happy that it was Friday. You all know the line " Thank God It's Friday " right? I received a text from an unknown number

"hey"

"who's this?"

"Gavin ;)"

"How'd you get my number?"

"I have my connections"

I rolled my eyes as I read the text he sent me. I couldnt believe Gavin Smith got my number. I wasnt fangirling or whatever but I felt thing thingly thingy inside. Maybe butterflies? We texted the whole evening. Since I was done with my homework and all.

Time passed by it was 10:00pm. I said goodnight to Gavin and he said the same thing except with a smiley face. Popular flirts eh?

I placed my phone on my computer table and went to bed. Unfortunately I couldnt get any sleep. I was just laying there looking at the ceiling. I saw some glow in the dark stickers up there. It reminded me about Xavier, my ex..

One night me and Xavier were out at the park. We were on a late night picnic. We were laying on a blanket and we stared at the stars. It was wonderful.. Being there with him was as perfect as rainy days and sad music or teens and wifi..

Thinking of that night made me cry.. a tear escaped my eye and after a while I was crying like an idiot. I could still imagine his bright blue eyes..

My phone rang. I woke up and rubbed my eyes. It was rather chilly.. I stood up and sat on my chair. I grabbed my phone and answered the call

"hello?"

"hey Bella!"

"Jake?"

"yup! Look at your window!"

I raised an eyebrow and ran to the window. I saw a man waving at me. I rubbed my eye and I saw Jake. I ended the call and sent Jake a message

"I'll be down after a while."

I grabbed my towel and took a shower. I ran into the room and put on a peach sweater and a pair of jeans. I got my beanie and ran downstairs. I brought with me a sticky note saying:

Mom,

I'm gonna be out for a while with Jake. Text me if you need anything. I'll be home at maybe 7:30pm

I left it on the kitchen table and went out. I gave Jake a big hug.

"Your squeezing me Bella" Jake said as I hugged him. "Oh, sorry"..

"Why are your cheeks so pinkish?" he asked curiously

"No their not" I crossed my arms and gave him a glare

He just laughed and grabbed my hand and brought me to his car.

He opened the door for me

"Here you go my darling"

I just smiled and nodded at him. We were both in the car. He drove us to an arcade. I dont really go to arcades, only with Jake. We played some stuff. I tried the basketball thing and the ball fell to the ground. I chased it and It wasnt on the ground. A guy was infront of me he had the ball..
