**Edited**
I saw Genevieve walk into the gym, she was accompanied by another girl. I believe I saw the girl briefly in my first period class.
Genevieve looks like a kid in a candy store right now. It's adorable. She must like swords or weapons in general in which case, good.
"Alright everyone with Claws on the left and everyone who uses swords on the right!" I yell, that way I can see how many of each we have. It's then I see the girl that was with Genevieve a second ago, dragging her to the claws side. How did she know Genevieve has claws? Odd.
With Genevieve being here there's an odd number of students. "Everyone get a partner one who has claws and one with a sword, that's how I want the pairings to be.
"You!" I yell, pointing at Genevieve, "You're with me!" She walks over to me then.
"What's going on?" Genevieve ask.
"I'm going to teach you how to fight," I state plainly. She nods her head. "Alright Genevieve, focus. Focus on your hands feel them changing, morphing into something else." She does as I say. Claws instantly elongate from her knuckles, about two feet long. They're long, even for an Alpha wolf. She's a very fast learner it seems.
"Good, now use them to fight." It's then I notice as she looks up from her hands, that her eyes are a silvery red. Her wolf took over, the Alpha of all Alphas.
"Name's Rylan, mate." Her wolf said.
"Alright Rylan, then let's fight. Come at me, my little mate." I'm most likely the only one here who can at least stand my ground against her.
Next thing I know is Rylan jumps ten feet into the air and is above me in seconds. I move out of the way as she almost lands on top of me.
I swing my sword and Rylan dodges it. She's fast. Good. Genevieve's wolf has skill that's for sure.
Rylan lunges at me and nearly cuts my arm with her claws. I lunge at Rylan and she meets my sword with her claws. Then realizing this was going to get us no where I let my wings sprout free from my back and fly up into the air. Then I nose dive down towards Rylan before she can even think. I knock her to the ground and am straddling her with my right forearm at her neck and my sword five feet away from us. I won.
Then, out of nowhere her claws disappear and I'm flipped over onto my back with Genevieve now straddling me and a claw extended pointed at my neck. She won and not as a wolf, but herself. I also must say, I would like this position if it weren't for the claw at my throat.
"You win."
"I always win, also call me Piper, not Genevieve, at least don't call me Genevieve in public." She whispered into my ear. Her claw now gone and everyone starts clapping since the new girl beat the teacher I assume. Then Genevieve is off of me in a matter of seconds.
"I'd like a chance at the new girl, if that's alright, Mr. Garrett?"
"What's your name?" I ask as I get up from the ground and realize it was the one girl with whom Genevieve had been with earlier.
"Taylor, sir. I want to see how she does against another wolf, if that's alright sir. Another true Alpha at that." Then she looks at me and I see a set of silvery red eyes just like Genevieve's silver red eyes in wolf form.
"Fine."
Then I remember something I had forgotten all about. The day the princess was born.
FLASHBACK
"Kye! The princesses are here. Genevieve and Taylor have entered the word! The King and Queen ask for your presence in the infirmary!" My little sister Jaine said enthusiastically.
"There's two of them?" I ask. I believed there to only be one of them. I felt it as soon as the one entered the world. I had even started to put a protection spell over her. That's the perks of being a witch. I can protect the one's I care about. As soon as I finished the spell, encase anything ever happened to her parents, she'd be safe, I went with Jaine to the infirmary. There they were Taylor and Genevieve. I was told who was who and found out that my mate was in fact Genevieve the red head. The King and Queen knew that no one could ever know there were two of them, so they put Taylor up for adoption to insure both of their safety. Their father even cast a spell to make those who knew about Taylor forget all about her. Good thing too, as a month later the castle was attacked.
End Flashback
When I focused back in Taylor and Genevieve were fighting, both had claws out and silver red eyes. They let their wolves take over. It looks as if they're evenly matched. Especially since neither are activating their faerie abilities or their witch abilities. This could in theory go on forever.
"It's as if they share one mind." A girl nearby said in awe.
"I know Pepper, it's freaky how in sync they are."
"Exactly Alex. It's awe inspiring."
Then I tune out of their conversation as I see both Taylor and Genevieve jump at the same time. Taylor with a little bit more force than Genevieve. Allowing her to get the upper hand. Next thing I know Genevieve is on her back, unable to move.
It's then the bell rings.
"Class dismissed! Taylor wins! Good fight both of you!" I yell as everyone file's out of the classroom. I'm about to leave myself as Genevieve approaches me.
"Alright I still don't understand what's up, but I think I get this isn't a dream. Though tell me one thing, why did my wolf, Rylan, call you mate? What does that mean?"
"That's two things Genevieve, I'll answer both anyways though. Your wolf called me mate because I am your mate. Wolves will tell you when they find their mate, Faeries feel the connection from miles away, witches it's a spark. When a witch touches the hand of their mate for the first time a spark is formed," I touched her hand and sure enough a blue and pink spark burst out of our hands. "That means we are destined for one another. We're soulmates. We're meant to be together and live the rest of our immortal lives together. Now, my little mate, we both better get off to class now." Then I teleported her to her class and then myself to my next class I had to teach. Another Mystics class.
