19 Sometimes Things Just Don't Go As You Hoped

'I've never told anyone this.. But.. I saw one of...' He sighed.. 'I saw... One of my closest friends die.. Right in front of me... I. Couldn't do anything.. I was there everyday in the hospital next to her.. I know I'm not that close to Laila as you are.. But.. To be honest.. I don't want to lose her.. I've lost enough friends.. I don't want you to lose your friends.. And i understand how you feel.. But don't be mad at us.. I was mad when i lost her.. I've lost many friends thanks to my behavior... Please do not react off your madness at us.. ' Andy told me.. To be fair.. Seeing Andy so serious.. Made me realize that there is a side of Andy we never saw.. We never noticed.. 'I-I'm sorry..' I said.. I just couldn't say anything.. 'You never did anything wrong Brook... But.. You really love her... Don't ya?' My face went a little red.. 'Yeah.. But I'm to late.. What if she meets one boy that.. That will love her more than i can... What if she dies because of Ayla?' 'She won't die Brook i promise!' 'How can you promise.. It's just if she's strong enough.. She won't die.. But if she's weak.. She will...' 'Brooklyn.. Just keep hoping.' Andy said while hugging me.. 'I'll try.. Thanks Andy.' I said..

We where two hours in the hospital.. Wich ment it was about 2 o'clock right now... They've operated Laila by her head.. The group that was with Blair went back to Essex.. Ginger, Andy, Mikey and me where still waiting in the hospital.. Andy was here since he knew as best how i felt, normally he would've go with Harvey, Rye and Jack.. But i guess he didn't..

I was really upset.. We where only allowed to see her through a window.. It hurt... It hurt seeing her like this.. And not being able to help her... 'Brooklyn.. We've got news about Ayla..' 'Tell me i need to know.' 'She... Isn't ending up in jail it seems like.. But.. She ain't allowed to go to ANY concert that Laila is at.' Ginger told me... 'Why?! Why only that!! She has to go to jail!' i said mad.. While clenching my fists.. 'Brook!!' Andy warned me.. 'Right.. Sorry..' I sighed..

'Are you all friends of Laila Smith?' a doctor asked.. We just nodded.. 'I'm sorry to tell you this.. But she's in a critical condition.. She might wake up in the next hour or so.. But she will be in alot of pain.. It depends what the tests say that will be taken after she woke up.. But if she's lucky she can leave.. But because of her condition.. I would doubt that.' He told us.. And then walked away..
'So.. She's in critical condition.. But if she's lucky she's still able to leave today what an messed up hospital is this!!' I whispered to myself.. I was mad.. Upset.. Confused.. 'I'm confused thanks to that doctor..' Mikey said.. 'Same.. I mean... She is in critical condition but if she's lucky enough.. She can leave!? What does that mean?!' i said.

'Who told you that information about Laila Smith?' A other doctor asked. 'Well.. Some kind off doctor i guess...' I sighed. 'Are you all friends of her?' 'Yes.. We are.' Ginger awnsered. 'Hmm.. I don't know who told you all that.. But all i can tell you right now is that she's not in such a critical condition.. She might have some memory loss but besides that.. She'll have some small scars left.. And if the tests say it right.. She could leave before 6 o'clock since she sould wake up in the next half hour.' She told us, this cleared everything up for me.. This made me feel a little better..
'Thank you for the information.' Andy said. 'No problem.. And you all have access to the room.' She said before she walked away..

Everyone went outside the hospital besides me... I was now sitting next to Laila.. Hoping that she'll wake up any second.. I decided to walk around the room a little..

'Brooklyn?' i heard a soft voice say i turned around to see that Laila was awake. 'Thank god Laila you are awake!' i said happy. She smiled.. 'Brook.. Do.. You... I.. Heard the things you and Andy talked about...' she told me.. Is she? No. Way.. 'Do you--'

'Hi Brook!-- Owh Laila you are awake!!' Andy said as he walked in the room.. He was followed by Mikey and Ginger.. 'Yeah she's awake.. I'm gonna let the others know real quick.' I said

Rye🐝: So not to freak you all out.. Laila is in the hospital.
Scarlet: Awww.. Hope she's okay.💔
Brooklyn(me): She is.. She just woke up!
Kaylee B.: Good! She's strong!
Brooklyn(me): She sure is after everything that happend anyway.. I got to go. Bye!

'Can you all please leave.. I need to do a ceck on Laila Smith.' we did as the doctor said, we left the room.

After the tests the doctor walked out..
'She's allowed to leave... She does need to be under watch at all moments incase something happens.' The doctor told us. Laila walked out.. She looked better before.. But i couldn't judge her.. She has just been beaten up.

'Laila what did you actually wanted to ask me earlier.' I asked. 'It's nothing.. Don't let it bother you.' she replied.

Around 4 o'clock we arrived back in Essex, the show didn't start until 6.30pm so i was allowed to visit my family.. So now me and Laila where walking towards my house.. 'Koala.. I really want to know what your question was.' I said as i stopped in my tracks.. She stopped walking to and turned around to face me..  'Now is not a good moment, Monkey.. I'm sorry..' She told me.. 'Look.. In all seriousness.. I want to know what the question.' She sighed.. 'I... I don't want you to know what it was.. Okay? I'm ashamed of the question.' She told me while her cheeks went red.. A voice was telling me to kiss her.. But how and why would i? But than again.. She would never love me.. 'Fine.. But.. After Jack's birthday.. You have to tell me. Okay?' 'Fine..' 'Promise?' 'I promise monkey.'
