💜Chapter 1💜Carol's POV💜

It was about a week after the outbreak started. Ed, Sophia and I were on our way to Atlanta. We heard that the government had set up a refugee camp there. We were about 25 miles out when we ran upon a group of survivors who waved us down. A tall dark haired man approached the passenger window and asked which way were heading " Atlanta " spoke Ed. I wouldn't advise you to do that there, ya see Atlanta belongs to the dead now, there's nothing left " Spoke the man " . We got a camp set up about a mile up that hill your welcome to join us if ya like. " Give us a minute to talk " said Ed. The man walked away. I think we should go with them daddy " spoke Sophia. Ed screamed at her to shut up and be quite. Sophia started to quietly cry. I don't trust them just being so damn friendly stated Ed. " We have no other choice I said " Just for tonight then were leaving in the morning got it Ed shouted at me. Ed waved at the man to come back we'll spend the night but were leaving tomorrow. My names Shane by the way said the man just head straight up that hill till you see the others.
