I sat there with my head pressed against the cool window thinking to myself, I hadn't loved Ed for a long time I was just to scared to run away. Ever since I seen Daryl I felt those feelings that I had not felt in a long time. I glanced over my shoulder and seen him sleeping I just looked at him. Could I really allow myself to love again? After everything Ed done to me. I started to look out the window again and seen a herd heading our way I grabbed Daryl's arm he looked at me his eyes barely open still sleepy. " What is it " he asked I told him and he jumped straight up grabbed the walkie talkie to radio the others. Rick said as long as they don't hear or see us we'll be ok. They were still down the highway a bit so Rick said for us to, lay down and be quite. Daryl scooted towards me a bit then laid back his head against the driver door he motioned me to lay down close to him. I did as he said but I didn't mind either, I thought to myself. My feelings for him are getting stronger I thought as we laid there an let the herd pass. Once most of them passed Glenn radio the rest of us, There were a couple stray walkers Daryl took them out with his crossbow and jumped back in the truck. It was almost dawn so we decided to sleep for another hour or so then head on out looking for a safe house to stay at for a couple nights. Rick said that we needed to stock up on food, so we'll have to find a town soon. 💞
