Friday Is Training Day Part 2

Jace POV

My palms were sweating and I could hardly breathe.

"I'm gonna go change" I mumbled and turned the corner leading to my room. Leaving Bethan standing confused and deserted in the corridor. I can't believe I'm that nervous. No I'm not nervous, I'm scared, I realized. Laughing bitterly to myself I ducked through the door of my immaculate room. I'm Jace Herondale! I haven't been scared of anything in my life and now I have resorted to running away from a girl. Well it's not just any girl, I concluded. This is Clary. My Clary. Also, the beauty of the situation being that I now had to change! Well you know what they say, no rest for the wicked...

I was still annoyed at my idiocy as I stalked to my chest of drawers. Pulling out a pair of grey sweat pants and a tight fitting shirt, I sighed and shook my head. I have just prolonged my suffering, I should have just gone at the same time as Bethan and see what kind of reception I got. Maybe she'll be horrible to me, maybe she'll blank me and pretend I'm not there. Or she could just act normal, which would probably kill me the most. I don't want to make assumptions but I still love Clary Fairchild with all my heart. And I just made an assumption anyway...

I had already changed and I should be at training now but my stomach was doing flips. Quit wallowing in your own pity, I thought to myself. With hardly anymore deliberation I dragged myself from my sitting position and put in place the cold exterior I have to act out every day. Running a hand through my tousled, blonde hair I walked to the door of the training room. Without a rational thought I shouldered the door open and sauntered inside. Plastering a signature smirk on my face.

I know I said I would update every Tuesday but I decided to give you guys a little extra. If I have any readers that is haha If you are reading this, please comment as I'm thinking of deleting this fanfic.

Now you know how Jace feels about Clary what's going to happen when they meet again? Will there be bad blood or will they fall back into each others arms?

Just to spur on some people to carry on reading, I can guarantee some fights,secrets,betrayal,romance, jealousy and a hella lot of Clace so hopefully you guys will carry on reading :-)
