Wendy's POV

I heard a thump, and then a muffled string of curses. My head throbbed. I peeled my eyes open and blinked a few times. I was in a small cage, in a dark room. I looked around, searching for some clue as to where I was. The walls were made of wood, and there were barrels and coils of rope in the far corner. I was on a ship. Suddenly, I heard a voice say,

"Hello, sweetheart. Who might you be?"

Startled, I turned to the left, and saw a different cage right next to mine. This one held another man dressed in leather, and I automatically assumed he was a pirate. He had black hair and he was handsome in a rugged sort of way. I was about to answer his question when a glint of metal caught my eye. Looking down, I saw that the man had a hook for a hand.

"I-I'm Wendy." I said nervously. "Who are you?"

"The name's Killian Jones," the pirate said, "but most people call me by my more colorful moniker- Hook."

He held up his hook.

I gasped. "Captain Hook?"

He grinned. "Ah, so you've heard of me."

"But this ship, the Jolly Roger, that's your ship," I said, confused. "Why are you a prisoner?"

A dark look crossed his face. "Mutiny. Blackbeard took over my ship, and the whole blasted crew's too scared to try and take it back."

"What? Why?" I asked.

"Because he's a bloody terror," Hook grumbled. "All the ones who stood up to him got their throats slit."

"What?" I said, horrified.

Hook started to say something else, but he was interrupted by the door crashing open.

In walked Blackbeard himself, with a villainous grin smeared across his face, showing most of his yellowing teeth.

"Hello, darling," he sneered, reaching out a hand to touch my face through the bars of my cage. I shrank back into the corner and Hook said,

"Leave the girl alone."

Blackbeard raised one eyebrow at Hook.

"Standing up for her, are we?" He asked, surprised.

Hook rolled his eyes. "She's an innocent girl."

Blackbeard smirked. "Is she?"

He withdrew his hand from my cage and waved it in the air. A picture appeared. It was of Peter and I standing in his camp.

Hook went very still. "No."

"Yes," Blackbeard replied. "She was working with Pan."

"I wasn't working with him," I snapped. "He gave me a home."

"Wendy, Pan is evil," Hook said, seemingly unable to comprehend the picture that was still floating in the air.

"Evil?" I shook my head. "No, he's not. He's wonderful. And he'll come to save me."

Blackbeard looked at me. "Are you sure about that?"

I frowned. What was wrong with him?

"Of course I'm sure. Peter and I- we understand each other." I said impatiently.

Blackbeard laughed. "Well, then, have a look at this and tell me what you think."

He waved his hand again, and the picture changed to one of Peter and Felix sitting at the camp. It was a video, I realized, when I saw Peter move.

He sat down next to Felix, and told him about my arrival in Neverland.

Felix listened, then said, "the heart of the truest believer. She could have it."

"Felix, you're brilliant," Peter said. "I'll get her to trust me, and then I'll take her heart and use it to keep my youth."

'I'll get her to trust me, and then I'll take her heart and use it to keep my youth'?

"W-what?" I stammered, looking up at Blackbeard. This couldn't be real. I pressed two fingers against my neck, taking my pulse. It had to be a dream.

Blackbeard got down so his face was level with mine, right outside the bars.

"Pan used you, Wendy. He never cared about you. Every moment was a lie."

I could feel the tears stinging my eyes, as I looked over at Hook not wanting to believe it. The other pirate looked at the ground.

"But, but, he kissed me." I said desperately, trying to deny this impossible idea.

"He. Used. You." Blackbeard's evil grin seemed to take up the entire room.

I just shook my head, and felt the tears fall uninvited down my cheeks.

Peter's POV

My heart was racing as I flew back to camp as fast as I could. I prayed that the unfamiliar lost boy would be there with Wendy, hoping against hope that she would be safe. I crashed through the trees, running into Felix.

"Have you seen Wendy?" I managed, gasping for air.

"Wendy?" He said, "I was looking for you. There are pirates near the island. All the boys are up, just in case."

"They took her," I said as I staggered into the camp, looking around wildly. "My Wendy bird, they took her."

"Your- what?" Felix asked.

I saw the blood drain from his face as he said,

"you're in love with her aren't you."

It wasn't a question.

I glared at him, still a little out of breath. "Just help me find her."

Felix nodded, and turned away to talk to another boy.

I needed her, I had to find her, who knew what those pirates would do to her?

In desperation, I flew above the trees to look for the ship, but they'd cloaked it with magic.

I needed to think. I landed next to the on the rocks where Wendy and I had been less than an hour ago.

I watched the river flowing like streams of glass, and suddenly I felt an overwhelming urge to escape, but there was nowhere to escape to and nothing to escape from.

As I looked down at my small, desolate reflection in the water, I vowed to get Wendy back, whatever it took.

Felix's POV

Wendy Darling. He was in love with Wendy Darling. The small piece of hope I'd carried with me ever since I came to Neverland crumbled, and I sat down on a log by the fire. I knew she loved him too, I'd seen the way she looked at him, but all this time I thought he was just using her. I couldn't help but hope that there might have been some way that he could love me.

But he wouldn't, he wasn't like that. Like me.

My parents kicked me out because they were ashamed of me, Peter would do the same in an instant.

Every time I saw them together, I felt a little pang of jealousy and heartbreak, but when I met Wendy for the first time, she was normal. She was nice, and good at sword fighting, and I couldn't help but laugh when Peter made her blush. She was too sweet to be used like that, too innocent.

A small part of me wished that he had just been using her. Then he wouldn't fallen in love with her. Of course, I knew I never had a chance with him, and as long as he was happy, I was happy. That was how it had been for years. And if it was going to stay that way, I needed to do everything I could to help him get Wendy back.
