He doesn't really know how he finds himself alone in the gym, held at gunpoint. Usually when he's in the gym, it's because of practice. But Takeda-sensei had suddenly cancelled practice out of nowhere. So he decided to stay in the school library to study.
He was never wary of the reason why the library was empty, or that the librarian herself was away from her post. He didn't question the eerie silence in the halls. He hadn't seen a single teacher when he walked to the library or even a student. Yet none of these signs raised suspicion for him. Not until it was too late.
When he went to find a vending machine to buy some drinks, he'd been grabbed. They shoved him around, bombarding him with questions. Now he was in the gym, cornered by five burly men. And though only one of them had a gun, the other four had knives. There was no doubt in his mind that each of these men could kill him in mere seconds.
"Alright, silver boy. Tell us what we want to know," the guy holding the gun commanded. He pressed it against the boy's head, finger gliding along the trigger. "This doesn't have to be difficult, as long as you cooperate, okay? We'll even let you leave without a hitch as long as you give us the answers."
However the third year was incapable of making a sentence. He only swallowed, as he felt goosebumps rise feeling the cold ridges of metal pressed to his head. He tried to remain standing, though his knees were about ready to give out. His palms were sweating and he was about ready to burst into tears.
"Oh, are you feeling uncomfortable? You must be new then. I can smell your fear," the guy let out a sinister chuckle, before pulling his gun away. "Maybe you would speak if we hold back, huh? Alright. Silver hair, speak up."
"Is anyone here? I heard voices," the terrified male didn't know what to do as the Student Council Vice President's voice was heard before she appeared in the doorway of the gym. He was surprised to see her sporting a large black hoodie and black leggings. She had a mask she hadn't been wearing earlier in the day and she had some sunglasses on though she usually wore prescription glasses. "Oh, what's this?"
"Get out of here, girly. This is between us and silver hair. We know that Miyagi gangs don't like when citizens are involved, so get out of here so we can get our answers from him," the man with the gun spoke in a sickly sweet voice. It caused Sugawara to flinch slightly. "We don't need more reasons for the Miyagi gang that controls here to get further upset with us."
"Well, gentleman, let me just say that you have the wrong person. And you know, you're right when you said that Miyagi Prefecture's gangs don't like innocent people getting involved. Now let him go," the voice of the Vice President was filled with malice, the threatening tone evident.
"Not until we get answers from him," the guy with the gun insisted, his voice straining as he tried to contain his anger. "Now run along, girly."
"Uh, sir, she said that he's the wrong person. What if he isn't a part of the gang that supposedly control this area?" One of the other men spoke up, voice wavering. "I mean, we don't really know who controls this place."
"Oh, you guys must be rookies, huh? I mean, who else wouldn't do research before heading out to try and get answers. And you're not even concealing your identity? That's fucking rich. Now gentlemen, please don't make me repeat myself," she spoke up again, making sure that her (h/l)(h/c) hair wouldn't obstruct her vision should the situation get agressive. "Get the hell out of this prefecture before I send your boss your heads in a box. You're not going to get any of the answers you want, you fucking Snakes, and I'll make sure of that."
"Oh? And what are you going to do, girly? You're no one special. And even if we are rookies, it's not like you can take five of us," the man who had previously threatened the third year retorted, letting out a condescending laugh. However, this was just a front to mask his surprise that she had identified them so easily. "What's a little girl going to do to us anyways?"
