"Not sure you understand the concept of a getaway car." Sharon said. Bucky and Sam were sat in the car, and Scout was sat on the bonnet. She had to head off to collect someone, but she just wanted to make sure she got her Tempest Suit back.
"It's low profile." Steve said.
"It's going to break down." Scout raised her eyebrows.
"Have a little faith."
"This stuff tends to draw a crowd." Sharon opened the boot of her car, revealing Steve, Scout and Sams's gear. Scout gathered her Tempest Suit and checked it over. It looked like Stark had been meddling with it again,
"I owe you again." Steve said.
"Keeping a list." Sharon joked, sparing a quick glance at Bucky. "You know, he kinda tried to kill me."
"Yeah, he's tried to kill everyone here. Not his fault." Scout defended Bucky.
"Sorry. I'll put it on the list, too. They're going to come looking for you."
"I know." She said, and the two of them started to lean forward. Scout looked back at Sam and Bucky who were arguing in the car.
"That was..." Sharon started.
"Disgusting?" Scout suggested.
"Late." Steve corrected. Scout made a face at him.
"Come on Gramps, I have a secret weapon to collect."
"I should go." Sharon said.
"Okay." Steve said, and Scout rolled her eyes. It was awful. Scout walked back into the car, flopping down next to Bucky and laying her head across his lap.
"James" she complained, dragging out the 's' at the end of his name. "Steve is being gross."
"And you're acting like a little kid." He snapped back. Scout looked puzzled for a minute, unsure of why he was being so agitated. She knew that they'd just escaped Stark's custody, and she'd revealed all of her lies to him, but she expected forgiveness, she expected him to understand, especially given the fact that he kept his entire past from her.
"How are you going to get to America?" Bucky asked, looking straight ahead.
"I'll fly." Scout said, using her cold voice back at him. Two could play at this game.

;

The sun shone in Queens, New York City, Scout had her hair pulled back and through the hole in her cap. She turned up her collar and wore large sunglasses. She had watched her target get ready for school all morning, and had followed her to Forest Hills. She wore jeans and a blue jumper, with a backpack slung over one shoulder.
"Steph Harrison?" The dark haired girl turned at the sound of her name.
"Yes, who are you?" She asked, looking Scout up and down. The cap, turned up collar and sunglasses should have given away the fact that she was
"I'm Scout Brighton, I was hoping I could have a quick word with you," Scout said.
"Stephie? You coming?" A girl with blonde hair asked.
"Yeah, gimme a second, Sal, go find Jason." Steph smiled and Scout pulled the girl away from the flow of students walking into school.
"You've heard of the Sokovia Accords, correct?" Scout asked.
"Yes. What's this about? I have photography club to get to, and not to mention I'm on the homecoming committee this year." She asked, biting her lip.
"What if I told you I know about your nightly activities," Scout whispered.
"You know about the Knight Warrior?" Steph asked, both in shock and in awe. Her efforts weren't going unnoticed.
"We'll work on the name." Scout sighed, "but yes, I know who you are and what you can do. I won't ask why, you don't have to say, but Steph, how do you feel about Berlin?"
"I've never been." She said, confused.
"Would you like to?" Scout asked.
"What, now? I have gymnastics after school." She said.
"Captain America needs your help." Scout didn't want to have to pull that card, but she did.
"I guess gymnastics can wait."

;

Using the wind, Scout lowered herself and Steph onto the sixth floor of the airport car park. It was pretty much deserted apart from the blue van and the tiny car.
"Twin," Clint said.
"Twin," Scout replied, a little smile on her face.
"You know I wouldn't have called If I had any other choice," Steve said, placing a hand on Clint's shoulder.
"Hey man, you're doing me a favour, helping Barney and Laura planning their wedding is killing me. Besides, I owe a debt." Clint smiled. "Barney and Laura miss you." He added.
"Thanks for having my back," Steve said, looking at Wanda.
"It was time to get off my ass," Wanda said, then looked to Scout. "I don't think we've met. Wanda Maximoff."
"Scout Brighton, I like your stuff."
"How about our other recruits?" Steve asked.
"Mine's rarin' to go. Had to put a little coffee in him, but... he should be good." Clint said, opening the door of the blue van, half asleep and looking disgruntled was Scott Lang.
"What time zone is this?" He asked, rubbing his eyes and standing up with Clint's help.
"Come on. Come on." Clint rolled his eyes. Scott shook Steve's hand with an amazed look plastered all over his face.
"Captain America." He said, eyes wide.
"Mr. Lang," Cap said.
"It's an honour. I'm shaking your hand too long. Wow! This is awesome! Captain America." Scott said and looked to Wanda. "I know you, too. You're great!" Then he looked back and grasped at Steve's shoulders. "Jeez. Ah, look, I wanna say, I know you know a lot of super people, so... Thinks for thinking of me." Then he looked at Sam. "Hey, man!"
"What's up, Tic Tac?" Sam saluted.
"Uh, good to see you. Look, what happened last time when I..."
"It was a great audition, but it'll... it'll never happen again," Sam said with finality. Scout reminded herself to look up what happens.
"I caught whispers that Stark has a secret weapon, so I got us one. This is Steph. She's, special." Scout said and gestured to Steph. She hid behind her hair, waving nervously.
"Hi..." Steph said.
"She's like, five," Sam said disdainfully.
"Five-teen! Actually." Steph corrected, then hesitated. "Fifteen. I meant Fifteen." She muttered.
"Where'd you find her?" Steve asked.
"Queens." Scout smirked, and Steve rolled his eyes.
"What can she do?" Scott asked, and Steph smiled.
"This." Steph closed her eyes and raised her hands, suddenly, the floor began to shake, and a hundred warriors raised from the ground in various military uniforms. Some were in German uniform, some in British or American, they were dead soldiers from World War One and Two. They stood motionless, looking for her command.
"That is the creepiest thing-" Sam said and the rest of the team looked nervous too. Steph whispered something and the soldiers disappeared underground. The cracks healed over and there was no sign that they'd ever been there.
"They listen to me, they'll only hurt whoever I tell them to," Steph said quietly.
"Steph, I'm going to be honest with you, it's not the strangest thing I've seen. I've fought Nazi's, crashed planes and woken up in 2012, I've gone toe to toe with Gods, aliens and supposedly dead organisations, just last year I punched an AI. Nothing you do could spook me." Steve said, his hand on her shoulder. "Did Scout tell you what we're up against?"
"No, someones after Captain America, I'm just happy to help."
"Something about some... psycho-assassins?" Scott added.
"We're outside the law on this one. So, if you come with us, you're a wanted man." He said to Scott.
"Yeah, well, what else is new?"
"Steph?" Scout asked.
"I have a mask and an army. They won't know who I am."
"We should get moving." Bucky said. He hadn't spoken to Scout face to face after the truth had come out. She was still angry at him for not communicating. For ignoring her.
"We got a chopper lined up." Clint said.
"Dies ist eine Notsituation. Alle Passagiere müssen den Flughafen sofort evakuieren." This is an emergency. All passengers must evacuate the airport immediately.
"They're evacuating the airport." Bucky said.
"Stark." Scout said, butterflies in her stomach, she didn't want to fight him, but she'd sworn that she'd protect Bucky.
"Stark?" Scott asked.
"Suit up." Steve ordered.
