Previously on PJD:

"So how much danger is Percy in?" Annabeth asks, holding my hand tightly. Celeste grimaces and Chase grits his teeth together.

"More than you could imagine," Chase says coldly. Then Celeste mutters something under her breath.

"What?" Annabeth asks. Celeste mutters the same thing again but we still can't hear. Annabeth asks what again. Then we hear her loud and clear.

"Percy, we're going to die."

Piper's POV

The next day, Hazel is all better. The serum seems to have dissolved into her system, and she is feeling better than ever. Frank's mood has spiraled upwards and in the morning they decided to go spend time together at the tallest building in dauntless, and zip line down.

But it's also a happy day. Franks birthday. So we all are on the train following them to surprise them there. We brought cake that Calypso made, with his name on it. She may or may not of stole the dauntless cake recipe...

We jump off the train, and Jason is holding the cake. He almost seems to float in the air with the cake as he jumps down. How he jumped without ruining the cake, I don't know.

We climb the stairs silently until we get to the door with a window on it. We all peek over and look at Frank and Hazel who are chatting and sitting on the edge of the roof.

We all open the door and slowly creep up behind them.

"Happy birthday Frank!" We all yell, and Jason holds the cake in front of him. They spin around and start laughing. Frank smiles at us and they stand up. We all walk to the middle of the roof and sit in a circle, getting some forks from a small bag Calypso was carrying. We all eat the cake happily, and then I have an idea.

"Why don't we play truth or dare?" I burst out. Everyone cheers and laughs.

"I call first mi amigos!" Leo yells out. He scans the group and his eyes fall on Jason.

"Jason, dare or dare?" He asks. Jason is taken aback.

"Hey! That's not fair!" He says, and everyone laughs. "But dare anyway."

Leo grins and rubs his hands together, looking around. Then you can see the lightbulb go off in his head.

"Jason, I dare you to dangle Piper over the edge of the roof for 30 seconds with only one hand attached to her!" He says. My eyes go wide and everyone jumps up with surprise. Me??

"Piper, we don't have to-" he starts, but I cut him off.

"Sure! Let's do it," I say. I trust Jason. We walk over to the edge of the roof and I slowly hang my self over. I grab Jason's hand and with my other one let go. Only for a split second I am falling, but he hold tight. Leo starts counting. By 20 my hand gets sweaty. I stay calm. Then 30 comes and Jason hauls me up.

"My turn," I grin. We sit in the circle again and I scan the circle. Frank. Hazel. Leo. Nico.

Nico.

"Nico truth or dare?" I ask. He groans.

"Truth," he says. I rub my hand together already knowing the answer. I saw him one night talking to a boy in Amity clothes about their relationship, and then the boy left.

"Nico...is it true that you have a boyfriend in Amity?" I ask. Nico whips his head towards Hazel.

"I swear I didn't tell her Neeks!" She says, putting her hands up.

"How did you find out?" He growls. Everyone 'oohs' and pats him on the back.

"I have my ways. But it's true?" I ask. Nico nods slowly and everyone cheers. You can see the corners of Nicos mouth turning up slightly, and we all grin.
