Ch.10 Watched

(Flashback) As the sun started to set more bringing in evening, the pirate who had landed in Neverland earlier had come back to retrieve his map from the tree, but when he made it to the tree, he was shocked to see that the hole had been revealed and the map was gone. Full of frustration, he began to panic as he searched everywhere for the map. But as he was doing so, Piper who had been hovering around while reading the map looked down from the trees and spotted the pirate. Wondering what he was looking for, he tucked the map into his clothes and flew down and landed behind him.

"You need help sir?" he asked.

"Beat it lad" the pirate snarled ignoring his request.

But that didn't stop Piper from trying to help.

"If you're looking for something I can help you find it" he offered.

"I said beat it lad!" the pirate growled before walking away.

"Fine" Piper frowned "I was just trying to help."

And with that he flew off back to the Lost Boys campsite where he landed in front of everyone.

"Shadow got away again?" Curly smirked.

"Never mind that-" Piper said as he pulled out the map "Look what I found."

He rolled out the map onto the table, not knowing that the pirate he talked to earlier was watching from behind the trees.

"A map?" Alistair said.

"I found it in a hole in a tree" Piper exclaimed "And it's not just any map, I looked over it and I believe that this is a treasure map."

"Treasure map?" Maddie gasped with interest.

"I mean look at the details, I don't know which island this is, but I have a good feeling that it leads to treasure."

"A treasure hunt huh?" Kitty grinned "I'm in."

"Kitty we don't know where this island is" Bunny reminded.

"Then let's look for it, I mean think of the adventure we'll have."

"Well even though that would be fun-" Piper said "I think we should wait until we actually know where this island is. And in the meantime, I'm gonna hold onto this until my parents come back."

"Well until then-" Slightly said "Our guest wants to know if they can see a little something."

"What?"

"They wanna go to the river where Jane lost her hand."

Piper turned to the Wonderlandians with confused looks.

"It was her idea" Kitty pointed to Lizzie.

"You guys can be so weird sometimes" Piper smirked "Very well, only we should probably go now before the Croc swims by."

As they headed off, the pirate watched them go, mainly keeping his eyes on Piper, now knowing that he had his map, he needed to find a way to get it back.

After school, the Wonderlandians made their way to the diner where Courtly ran up to them.

"Guys!" she gasped "You would not believe what just happened today!"

"Is the washing machine broken again?" Lauren sighed.

"No, there was this girl in here earlier, mysterious one, she told me that she was looking for someone, and I noticed that she kept her right hand in her pocket. At first I thought she was hiding a gun and that got me nervous for a moment, but turns out she had a hook instead of a hand!"
