Hoping that she didn't have to spill her secret, Jane felt her heart sink after Piper told her that she had to. She gave a nervous look as she looked down to avoid eye contact.

"It's okay" he assured "You can tell me anything."

She gave a nervous sigh, but forced her confidence as she spoke.

"I know we didn't start off as mateys" she started to say "We used to be just like our fathers. And back then, I was this cruel, blackhearted pirate who was just as feared as me father. And just like him, I've done some horrible things, and the one that scarred me the most of what happened the day of the incident."

She hesitated as Piper continued to listen, knowing what she was going to say.

"Piper-" she sniffed as her eyes started to water "I know that ye may never forgive me for what happened that day, but I just wanted ye to know that I am so sorry. I'm sorry for everything, for what happened to Abby, for being a cruel, ruthless pirate who didn't care about anything but herself and getting back at you for being so damn annoying."

She then felt a tear drip down her cheek as she wiped it away.

"But that's not even the worst part" she sniffed "When ye told me that ye wanted to be my friend, I had no idea that I would care so much about you, me, a pirate who cares about her former enemy, what the bloody hell happened to me?! And to tell ye the truth, when I heard that ye were alive, I wished it was a trick, because I didn't want to have to deal with the pain of caring for you. But I couldn't help it, I know that no matter what happens, you will always be my best matey, and I will always care about you."

And at that point, the door of the cage suddenly disappeared leaving an opening. Piper then gave a small smile as he leaned in and pulled Jane into a hug. Even though it hurt to tell her secret, Jane was still glad that it released Piper as she hugged back with tears in her eyes. Both of them feeling glad to be reunited with each other.

(Flashback) When her ship made it to the west English coast, Jane walked down the wooden plank and onto the dock where she examined the little town she was now in. Since she was in another realm, all of the people either walked or rode carriages down the streets, and there wasn't even a single light bulb.

"Ye all take care of me ship!" she ordered her crew "I'll gonna explore this haven."

As she headed away from her ship, Jane spotted a tavern where she could hear the sound of cheering inside. Wondering what was going on, she peered into the tavern and spotted a crowd surrounding something that she couldn't see. Wanting to get a better look, she stepped inside and went up to the crowd where she stood on a chair and peered over the crowd to see a tattooed man and a girl about her age wearing a pirate like outfit and had light brown hair that was curled, and the two were playing a game of cards with a little sack in the center that Jane assumed was filled with gold.

As she watched them play, the man looked nervous but tried to hide it as he tried to beat the girl, but she was too slick and was able to beat him as everyone cheered. She gave the man a sneaky smile as she pulled the sack towards her.

"I win again" she smirked while taking a sip of her drink.

The man gave a growl as he got up and stormed out of the tavern as everyone chuckled including Jane. After that Jane decided to stay a bit as she sat at an empty table and waited for someone to take her order. But as she was doing so, the pirate girl tried to walk pass behind her when she suddenly tripped over a chair leg and spilled her drink onto Jane as they both gasped.

"Hey!" Jane exclaimed with anger.

"Oh sorry" the girl apologized in her English accent with a small chuckle.

"Oh sure ye are" Jane doubted with a frown.

"Here" the girl handed her a piece of cloth as Jane used it to wipe her clothes.

"Nice hook" the girl pointed to her hook "What happened to ye?"

"Crocodile" Jane replied dully.

"Oo" the girl cringed "How awful."

Jane just rolled her eyes as she continued to wipe her clothes.

"Wait a minute" the girl suddenly said surprised "Isn't yer father James Hook?"

"Aye."

"Well blow me down" the girl gasped "Our fathers know each other."

"Really?" Jane replied astonished "Who's yer father?"

"John Silver."

At that point Jane felt even more astonished.

"Long John Silver eh?" she smirked "What's yer name?"

"Marissa Silver" she replied while sitting down in front of her "What's yers?"

"Jane Hook. Ye know yer father fears my father right?"

"Aye, but my father's become a more ruthless buccaneer, he even told me that he wants to be like yer father before he sailed away on his voyage."

"Well I wish him luck" Jane smirked "Because no one can be like me father, there's only one Captain Hook, and that's him."

"We'll see about that" Marissa smirked back "So tell me Jane, what brings ye to the west English coast?"

"I'm actually on a quest."

"Oo" Marissa grinned "What are ye on a quest for?"

"A treasure called the Never Diamond, I heard that it has the ability to save a life."

"Really?" Marissa gasped amused "What's yer motive for finding this treasure?"

Jane gave a sigh "It's a long story, I'm just trying to find the diamond and get home."

"Then, what are ye doing here instead of searching?"

"I don't know" Jane sighed "I don't even know where the diamond is. I came here to see if I can at least get a clue, but so far nothing."

"Well, I don't know what I can do to help, but all I can say is I wish ye the best of luck mate."

"Thanks" Jane sighed.
