Ch.42 Doctor's help

(Flashback) Now at a little house on the edge of the town, Scout and Ashton went up to the door and knocked on it.

"Dr. Livesey!" Ashton called as he knocked.

"You really think he can help?" Scout asked.

"Of course, I mean he was there with Chris's father for the voyage."

"Yeah but he's gotten old, you think he remembers?"

Before Ashton could answer, the door opened as an elderly man stood there with his spectacles resting on the tip of his nose.

"Hello Dr. Livesey" Ashton greeted with a smile.

"Ah Ashton Trelawney" Livesey greeted back with a smile as he turned to Scout "And Scout Smollett. What brings you two here?"

"We need your help."

When they went inside, Ashton and Scout explain everything to the Dr about what happened to Chris.

"Oh dear" Livesey gasped with shock.

"We know that they're heading to Treasure Island" Scout said "But since Marissa took the map, we were wondering if you could be able to help us locate the island."

"Oh my" Livesey replied surprised as he began to think "Well, it's been a long time since the voyage."

"Do you at least remember where the island is?" Ashton put in "Is it near any continent or something like that?"

"I'm afraid I don't remember" Livesey answered sadly "Let me take a look at a map real quick."

He then went to a map of the world that was already spread out on a table and began to examine it.

"I remember we went pass here" he pointed to the map "And then I believe here."

He then picked up a quill and ink and drew a circle around an area of the map.

"I believe the island should be in this area" he announced "It's not that big of an island, but it should be here."

"Thank you Dr. Livesey" Ashton said.

"You boys gonna be okay going on this voyage?" Livesey asked.

"We will" Scout assured "We've been on a voyage before, we can handle it."

"Well, alright, you two be careful."

After leaving his house, Scout and Ashton headed towards the docks where they spotted a ship there titled 'Saona'.

"It seems my ship is ready" Scout announced "Now let's go find Chris."

"You know Scout-" Ashton put in "You've come a long way since you first met Chris, I mean you didn't like him before, and now you're going to help find him."

"I know" Scout sighed "And can we not talk about that?"

"Whatever" Ashton chuckled.

After leaving the group, Piper hiked through the Neverwoods wanting to clear out his mind, but as he tried to do so, the thoughts kept coming back. He needed to go somewhere, and he knew just the place. Once he made it to his mother's old house, he went up to the front and sat down with his back against the door. With the full moon as his only source of light, Piper pulled out his panpipes and began to play a soft tune.

From all the problems that were going on, he needed to be alone. But he couldn't stop thinking about them, from stopping Pan to wondering when his parents will be back, it was filling his brain with stress. But his thinking came to a stop when he suddenly heard footsteps coming towards him. Hoping that it wasn't a pirate, he had to be prepared as he got up and put his hand on his dagger just in case.

He could hear the sound getting closer in front of him, and soon he could see two figures appearing. But as they got closer, he couldn't believe his eyes when he saw that they weren't pirates, but instead his parents. He gave a small gasp as his parents stopped and gasped when they spotted him. He thought he was imagining things at first, but after a moment of thinking, Piper realized it was real, after all those times of being away from Neverland, he was finally seeing his parents.

"Mom?" he gasped quietly "Dad?"

"Piper!" Wendy exclaimed as she ran up to him and into a hug.

Piper still couldn't believe what was happening, he could hear his mother bursting in tears as she held his tight, he too felt his eyes water as he hugged back.

"Is it really you?" Wendy sniffed as she put her hands on his cheeks with tears in her eyes.

"It's me mom" he assured with a smile.

She then continued to cry as she pulled him into another hug. As they did so, Piper could see his father in front of him watching them with a smile on his face. When they pulled away, Piper went up to his father and embraced into a hug.

"I knew you weren't dead" Peter smiled.

After reuniting with his parents, they all went into a family group hug that made Piper never want to let go.

"How did you both find me?" he asked after pulling away.

"We arrived at the campsite and Alistair told us that you went off" Peter explained "And we knew just the place to find you."

"True."

"Now you got a lot of explaining to do mister" Wendy put in.

"And I will explain everything" he assured "But first, we should probably go back to camp, you don't know if Pan could be listening."

Once they made it back to the Lost Boys campsite, Piper explained everything to his parents about what happened during and after his abduction.

"And now we're trying to find a way to use Pandora's Box on Pan without getting ourselves killed" he finished.

"Yikes" Peter gasped with shocked.

"And this seems almost impossible" Elena put in with frustration "We all know Pan is more powerful than us, defeating him is gonna be one hell of a challenge."

"It is" Wendy agreed "But there is a tip. In case you all forgot, Pan is basically Piper's fear, and he gets stronger by fear. So I suggested that the best way to defeat him, is to face your fears, specifically you Piper."

"Oh" Piper replied surprised "Right... my fears."

"What are your fears?" Lauren asked.

"Uh... can we not talk about my fears?"

"Why not?" Olivia asked "Are they embarrassing?"

"No, it's just-" he tried to hide his nervousness while thinking of an answer "I don't wanna talk about my fears."

"Are you okay Piper?" Brenden questioned with a concerned look.

"I'm fine" he assured.

"Oh I'm sure you are" Brenden doubted.

At that Piper nervously clasped his hands together, hoping that no one would find out why.
