Before they were ready to set sail, everyone stepped aside from Mira who remembered she still needed to break the curse on Neverland.
"You sure you don't want my help?" Elena questioned her.
"I'm sure" Mira assured "I brought the curse, and now I need to get rid of it. Just stand back, you don't know what could happened."
As everyone stepped back, Mira stood upon the high platform and faced the night sky. Hoping that her magic was strong enough, she began to gather up all of her magic into her hands. And when she was ready, she blasted her magic into the sky, focusing hard on breaking the curse. Everyone watched and hoped that she would be able to do it, and by the look on her face, she seemed to be concentrating hard.
Pretty soon everyone felt a blast of force brushing pass them as Mira stopped her magic and began to pant.
"Well that was tiring" she panted.
"Did it work?" Olivia asked with interest.
"Oh it worked all right" she replied "I felt it, it's broken."
"Really?" Piper gasped with a smile.
"Yep" she smiled back "We can go back now, and I say we go now before you know who comes back."
"So uh, are they coming?" Aidan pointed to the Lost Boys.
"Well that depends if they want to."
"Oh we're coming" Slightly declared "Jane told us that this Storybrooke has these great coconut cream pies, and I have to try that."
"Well you're in luck" Lauren smiled "It's everything haft off at the diner this week."
"So I suppose you two are coming as well?" Terrence pointed to Peter and Wendy.
"Of course" Wendy declared "Now that we know Alice's been found, we have to see her."
"Well I'm sure she's gonna be very happy to see you two" Brenden smiled.
"Alright!" Jane called as she made her way to the wheel "Avast ye mates! Let's get sailing!"
As everyone prepared to set sails, Tinkerbell flew up to Piper and sat on his shoulder.
"You're coming too?" he smiled as she nodded "Sweet."
Soon the ship began to rise from the water, and now that the Neverland curse was broken, Jane was able to steer the ship away from the island and sailed off through the sky. Now heading home, everyone could finally rest knowing that they would soon be back in Storybrooke. And as they sailed off, Aidan took a glance at Ilene who was gazing out at the edge with her arms resting on the rail. Remembering what had happened before, he decided to go up to her for a little chat.
"Hey" he greeted.
"Oh-" she replied a bit surprised "Hey."
"Mind if I join?"
She nodded with a small smile as he joined her in the gaze.
"You happy to be going back?" he asked.
"For the first time I'm actually glad to be leaving Neverland, I had a lot of fun the first time I went there, but now... I don't know anymore."
"Well besides the fact that you were dead for a moment, overall it was quite an adventure."
"Yeah..." she agreed with a shrug "Hey uh, about that uh, surprise kiss, can we pretend that never happened?"
"Why?"
"Because that wasn't how I wanted things to go" she confessed with a guilty look "I didn't mean to surprise you like that, it's just the way you told me that I was important to you and all of that, I just had to do it."
"I understand, and hey, if you want to pretend that it never happened, then okay."
"Thanks" she breathed in relief.
He gave a small smile before patting her shoulder as he walked off.
Meanwhile, while everyone else was on deck, Brenden was down under in a room where he tried to get some sleep on a small bed, but he kept on tossing and turning that it was making it hard for him to rest as he couldn't stop thinking about what happened earlier. But as he tried to get some sleep, he suddenly spotted something in the corner of his eye as he turned and was shocked to see Pan.
"What are you doing here?" he demanded as he sat up and scooted back.
He noticed that Pan was hunched over, showing that he was still weak.
"I need your heart" Pan breathed in a growl "Your friends took it from me, and now, I'm getting it back."
But when he tried to reach for Brenden's heart, he suddenly felt a shock as he stepped back, realizing that a magic shield was protecting Brenden.
"How clever" Pan scowled "I guess it's onto Plan B then."
And with that he reached into Brenden's back and began to tug on his shadow as Brenden cried in pain.
"What the hell are you doing?!" he screamed in pain as Pan kept trying to pull out his shadow.
"Try try Pan" Pan turned around to see Piper who was carrying Pandora's Box.
"But you're not getting out of this easy" he frowned as he opened the box and Pan tried to hang on as he felt the box trying to pull him in.
"No!" Pan yelled as he was finally pulled into the box as Brenden sighed in relief.
"You okay?" Piper asked.
"Yeah thanks."
"How did he even get in here?"
"Don't ask me" Brenden shrugged "I was trying to get some sleep."
"Well thankfully I was able to finally put Pan where he belongs" Piper said in relief as he turned to the box "I hope you hate it in there!"
"Oh trust me" Brenden smirked "He will."
"Well then-" Piper smirked "I'm gonna go give the good news to everyone, I'll wake you when we're in Storybrooke."
"Alright."
After Piper left the room, Brenden gave a sneaky smile as he got up from the bed.
"Go ahead and tell everyone the good news Piper" he smirked "I'm sure they're be happy to hear it."
He then spotted a mirror on the wall as he went over to it and checked his reflection.
"Pan never fails" he smirked "Even when everyone think he's been defeated."
He continued to stare at his reflection, but instead of seeing Brenden's face, he saw his real face, Pan's face.
"And now-" he gave an evil smile "It's time to play."
