Chapter Four

(Booshida)

The next day I wake up to the sound of Julia's alarm blaring in my ear. I'm on the floor hugging my coat smelling the forest on it. I sit up and find Julia trying to shut of the alarm.

"Shut off you stupid alarm! We need our sleep."

"Julia, why is the alarm set? Doesn't school start later today?" Bang! Bang!

"Wake up guys! Breakfast will be served in ten minutes!" Yells someone in the hall. I launch up and change out of my clothes from last night into a camouflage shirt that says Wild Girl and black cargo pants.

Julia rolls over and waves me away when I try to get her up. I grab a pony tail holder and stick in my pocket and keep my hair down. My hair goes to the middle of my back in curls. I pull on my sneakers and run out the door.

I see majority of everyone has rushed out to get food. Mostly the guys. I sniff the air and smell all kinds of food but really only the meat. My mouth waters and I run for it. as I near the end of the hall a door open and I trip trying to stop and not run into it.

"Well hello Booshida. I guess you smelled the breakfast didn't you?" said Harley, from the opened doors frame staring at me.

"Yeah," I say, blushing a little. "Like I said last night. I like meat a lot. When I smelled it I was in heaven now I want food. Sorry that sounds weird doesn't it?"

"No not at all." He said while we walk together. "You should have seen me before I turned. I only ate meat for a week before my wolf let me eat anything else." I laugh and he smiles.

"So my wolf is making me this hungry?"

"Yeah, with our type of wolves too. They seem to be a little more hungry for some reason. Probably with the bats hunger." When we walk into the cafeteria we find Brian trying to break up a fight of two wolves and everyone else getting their food like this happens every day.

"I should probably go help Brian. Those two always fight over who gets the last steak. Even though they always bring out more." I watch as Harley walks over to the steak plate and grab the two juices steaks and plops them on their trays.

They talk for a little and he starts coming back over but a girl jumps in front of him and kisses he full on the mouth. I have to stop myself from growling and see that she turns away with a sad look in her eyes. He comes back over looking startled.

"They have been doing that almost every day thinking they might be my mate. I'm tired of it and can't wait for it to be over."

"Well at least I know what I feel. I had to stop myself from growling when it happened and now that it's over I want food." he laughs a little and leads me to the starting line. I pick out my favorite meats and like pork, beef, deer, bear, etc.

When I'm done we head to the Alpha table and I sit next to Julia who finally got out of bed to eat. Even if its Brian's lips. Since I'm new and Julia's my room mate no one minds that I sit with them. Though I did get some nasty looks throw my way from a few of the girls who see if they were his mate.

"So when you guys spilling about you know what?" Asks Julia sliding off Brian's lap and into the seat next to his.

"I think we should do it soon." I say. They look at me like I'm not the same girl they met yesterday except Harley who justs smiles a little. "I don't want to keep seeing people kiss him. That will only make me madder and soon I might hurt a girl."

"Don't worry I was thinking the same. If we do it soon we can stop having people snoop in our life a little less and not hide our love." We all stay quiet for a little and people start staring at our table.

"Well we can figure it out later but lets talk about what classes we might get." say Julia taking a piece of bacon of of Brian's plate.

"I don't really care about classes as long as they interest me. How about you guys tell me more about being a wolf in this pack?" I ask, wishing that I was closer by Harley without giving our secret away.

"Sure, that sounds like a good plan." says Harley. They tell me all the pack rules and about some of the people in the pack that I should be carful around. This continues until we have to leave for the first day back assembly.

When we leave the cafeteria I see Booshida look back with a longing gaze. We talk a lot about the pack but on the boring parts I played footsie under the table with her to make sure she wasn't bored out of her mind with them talking.

She kept looking at me and I smiled at her witch I'm glad the pack doesn't look at our table because we might be discussing privet information. When we get halfway to the gym the vampires come down the stairs and we all tense up. Jorden is in the middle of his group.

We nod our heads at each other and I motion my pack to keep moving down the hall. We run up the right side of the bleachers when we arrive. Usually I sit at the top but today I might have to be called down for something -might.

The teachers are in the middle so we are separated and not fight. Then the leeches. The head masters come in when we're all settled in.

"Good afternoon everyone!" says Mistress Night. She gives the usual introduction then Master Night gives the rules about the activities if we want to join one. I'm already on the werewolf football team -as captain of course.

Yes I know all things are divided between our two groups but its the only way we don't fight. Julia is on the girls baseball team and Brian is on the boys basketball team. We all play a sport except the vampires have a few the don't.

I look over at Booshida and see her perk up when he mentions volleyball. I look her over and see that her body structure is perfect for it. We sit there for another few long boring minutes before they introduce Booshida.

"Now as you all saw or heard yesterday...we have a new student. her name is Booshida and is our daughter so be nice to her or else." Threatens Mistress Night. When ever she say 'or else' you head her warning. Even Jorden who listens to no one because he's a prince.

We head out to explore the school but Booshida pulls me back to talk.

"I think we should tell them tonight about us. I keep feeling jealous of Julia and Brian because they don't have to hide their love. It's driving me nuts Harley."

"Don't worry, if you want to tell them now we can tell them. Trust me I'm getting tired of it two."

"Well what's to waste." With that she takes off towards her parents and I run after her. She got faster over the night but not faster than me. I catch up to her just a little after she gets her parents attention.

"Hello honey what did you need?" Asks master night looking at me for a split second.

"We wanted to know if you have enough time to talk to us for a minute?"

"Sure what do you need to talk about?"

"In private." They look at each other then motion for us to follow them.
