Supernatural Love (On Hold)

Chapter Eight

We have been out here for about three days now and I'm loving it. I have gotten to clim trees, practice my powers, play pranks on Harley. Right now we are trying to find a spot for my first shift tomorrow night and I'm riding on Harley because it's a long walk for me. We come upon a clearing with a little stream and I slip off Harley so he can shift back. "What do you think Harley? I like here. Perfect for getting water. Far from the school."

"Yeah perfect for tonight but I can still hear very quiet screams from the school so we need to rest then get another five miles then we'll be good." I roll my eyes and walk over to the stream. I scoop up some water and take a long drink. He sits next to me and I make a vine grow around his foot and splash water in his face. He try's to back up but trips. I laugh and he look like he wants to kill me.

"What not my fault that you tripped over your own feet. You are very clumsy." I say while getting rid of the evidence. He grabs my arm and starts tickling me like crazy. Soon I can't breath and tap out. He sits back and I snuggle into his warm chest. "Does it hurt?" I ask. He looks at me for a while.

"It's horrible on the first shift. Like all of your body is bring ripped into a billion pieces." He see my worried face. "Hey don't worry, you'll be fine." With that we go back into silence with only the sound of the forest around us. I look across the clearing and see a figure in the bushes.

"Harley do you see or smell someone here?" I ask just loud enough for him to hear. He looks at where I'm starring and spots the outline. He stands up and quickly disappears. Soon Julia and Brian come out from a bush with Harley on their heels. I stand up and look at them in shock. "What are you guys doing here?" I ask almost shouting.

"We're here because Snow escaped one of the traps your parents set out for her and she totally saw it coming. We had to find you before she did. We have a neutralizing gun that will knock her out for five days. That's enough time to take her back if we stay here. Please we need to get her out of the way to find the new King and Queen." At that I turn my head towards Harley.

"How do they plan on finding them?"

"They are checking people for tattoos that were described to them by the Moon goddess." I look at Harley and he shakes his head just barely. 'Don't tell them yet' he basically said. I shut my mouth and dont say a thing about our tattoos.

"So we have to stay in the woods until Snow finds us or they find her? Okay, I'm game." I say and run over to a tree. I jump on to a low hanging branch and sit down. "This is now my room. Julia you are not allowed up here with Brian unless everyone else is okay?"

She just rolls her eyes and climbs the tree next to mine. the boys look at each other like, 'What just happened?'. I start laughing and Julia joins me. We were laughing so hard we didnt even notice the boys were climbing our trees. Harley used his power and Brian was just that sneeky. they grab us from behind and jump off the branch. I scream and use my powers to create a mud puddle for a semi-soft landing. We land and make a big splash.

"What the hell!" Yells Julia. Oh I guess I forgot to mention my powers to those two. Uh oh. I look up and see her covered in mud. Well we are all covered in mud. "How did you get pass me without me finding out that you have freaking powers. Elemental in fact." 

"I'm sorry, it just sliped from my mind and I was so busy with all this mate stuff." She calms down and hugs me.

"That's okay I know how it is when you find your mate. Especially one with a high rank." She gives me a wink and I smile.

"Why are we always excluded from these moments and have no clue to what you guys just did!" Yells Brian. Him and Harley are standing a few feet away from us and they look so clueless. I just laugh.
