Chapter Nine

(Harley)

I wake up with Booshida in my arms still asleep. Her beautiful dark brown hair in waves under our heads. Her wonderful sent of the forest, roses, and copper. I know a weird smell but I love it. I pull the blanket back over our shoulders and pull her closer to me. She stirs a little and wakes up. She looks back at me and smiles her beautiful smile.

"Morning, what's for breakfast?" She asks while stretching her arms out.

"I don't know. Your the beautiful cook here so what do you feel like?" She glares at me with a hint of a blush on her cheeks. She throws my arm off, and stands up. She goes to her pack and pulls out a black tank top, some black tights, and no shoes.

"Get off your butt and go hunt for some meat. We will need it for as long as we will be staying out her..." She starts to say but gets interrupted by someone from below.

"Booshida where is breakfast? I'm hungry!" Yells Julia. She sighs and kisses me on the cheek.

"Guess you not the only one." She says. I pull her down and kiss her on the lips before letting her go. She glares at me but I just smirk at her. She jumps out of our tree, leaving me alone. I grab a short sleeved shirt and some faded jeans. I strap my knife to my ankle and put on some hiking boots. Jumping out just like Booshida, I see her cooking the rest of the meat from yesterday and glaring at Julia.

She was eating a chocolate. For crying out loud, I want chocolate and she didn't share! I sit right next to my girl, while also glaring at Julia. She just grins and waves the bar of... wait it's dark chocolate! She's dead now.

(Booshida)

The nerve of that girl! Just sitting there waving a delicious bar of Dark chocolate in our faces. I don't regret what I did next. I launch myself at her, tackling her to the ground, fighting for that chocolate. Harley tries to pull us apart but I'm not budging. Soon Brian come out and into the clearing. He clears his throat and we all freeze. The murderous look in his eyes make me get off Julia and hide behind Harley. I don't like angry wolfs.

"Can someone tell me why you were attacking my mate?" He asks, trying to hold back his wolf. We nod, and Harley speaks up.

"Julia was teasing us with a bar of chocolate." That was all he needed to say. Brian turned his attention to Julia.

"Honey, you should share. They don't deserve to be teased." She glares at him.

"Who side are you on?" With that she stomps back to their tree. He turned to look at us.

"You two will be the reason I'm mate - less." Is all he says then runs after her. I look at Harley basically asking, how long? He shrugs his shoulders.

"This has never happened before. She's extra moody today." We walk back to the food and I finish the meat. Harley gets out of the tree and they come out hugging. I wonder what happens when they talk. We eat in silence and when we are done Harley and Brian train. I pull Julia aside and ask her what's going on.

"You can't tell Brian. I have to in my own time." She says when she's done telling me.

"But Julia, you have to tell him. He deserves to know."

"I know but I'm scared what if he doesn't want this to happen?"

"Then he need to get over it fast. You are caring his child and that a big deal. How long do wolf pregnancies last?"

"Four months."

"Your going to be showing soon and he'll know something is up. I suggest telling him out here so he can explode or do what he needs to do." She thinks about it for a minute.

"Your right. I will tell him when he's done training."

"Okay now let's get back." Once we reach the clearing, the boys stop and hug us. I soon get really hot and starts fanning myself.

"Boo? Are you okay?" Ask Harley.

"Yeah, just really hot out here."

"No its not." Says Brian.

"Your really heating up. Are you okay?" Ask Julia. A pain suddenly starts in my abdomen and I collapse in pain.

"She's shifting." Is all Harley has to say before they start rushing around to get stuff ready. Harley picks me up and sets me in a soft patch of grass and holds my hand. "Squeeze my hand if you need to. You will be okay." I nod my head.

(Harley)

As I sit and watch Booshida in pain, three vampires jump out of the trees. "Get the girl!" One Yells. I spring into action and so does Brian. I grab the attention of tow of them and Brian gers the third. Julia rushes over to Booshida with a gun in her hand. Why doesn't she shift? I hear the gun go off in the background but I'm to focused on the fight.

When we finish them off I turn to see Julia knocked out and Booshida missing. This can't be happening right now.
