The Tutoring Sessions

Your Turn

"I'll ask Matt out when I tutor him later, but I'll only do it of you ask Rory out before the end of the school day, deal?"

"Deal." The two girls shook on it.

All throughout the day Jenna felt nervous. She was going to ask Matt out and if he said she'd still get the money for the prom ticket, but then she would have to deal with the rejection. She did kept telling herself she didn't like Matt so she couldn't understand why the thought of him saying no to her made her feel uneasy. In English class she looked over at him and she could've sworn she saw him taking notes, but she shook that idea out of her head because like Mr. Capaldi said, he was borderline failing and she was his only hope.

"Alright Pond, tell me, have you done it yet?" Jenna asked as she wiggled her eyebrows.

"You know I don't like to talk about my sex life!" Amy whispered angrily.

"No you idiot, did you ask Rory out yet?"

"Oh that? No, I haven't..."

"Well now is your chance." Jenna said as she nodded in Rory's direction. He entered the cafeteria and was texting away on his phone. He bumped into three people on his way to get food.

"He's such a klutz, but he's so cute..."

"Now Pond."

Amy stood up reluctantly and made her way over towards Rory. She tapped him on the shoulder and he turned around. He smiled the instant he saw her and he put his phone away.

"Oh, hi Amy, how're you?"

"I'm good, you?"

"I'm good, just a bit hungry." He replied as he motioned awkwardly to the long line of students waiting to get food.

She giggled and then nervously asked, "Rory, Valentine's day isn't that far away and I was wondering if you'd like to maybe see a movie, or go out to dinner, or something..."

"Yeah, I'd love to... Can I have your number?"

The two exchanged numbers and Amy hurried back to the table to tell Jenna.

"Your turn Coleman, don't disappoint me."

Sorry I haven't updated this story in ages, but I PROMISE I will finish it but only if you guys are still interested. This chapter was so short because I wanted to see how many of you actually want me to work on it more :)
