The day started out like any other day in the Spirit World. Spirits were flying and circling around the cabin anxiously waiting for the two to come out. Asami was in the kitchen preparing breakfast while Korra was still fast asleep. Asami looked over and smiled.

"How'd I get this lucky?" Asami thought.

She herself was unsure of what became over the last six months. The reason for coming to the Spirit World was just for vacation, but then it changed. Korra had shown her everything that the Spirit World had to offer, and each day together was an adventure. She was so deep in reminicising that she didn't hear the knock on the door. She was startled that she let go of the plate she was holding. Before she could react, Korra had already saved the plate in an air ball.

"Wow Asami. If a knock on a door can scare you like that, I wonder if you'll be fine back home with all your industrial work going on around you?" Korra teased. She chuckled as she hovered the plate over the counter, landing it just right so that the plate wouldn't make a *clack* noise.

Asami looked at Korra who was sitting up in the bed. "Oh, be quiet," she said in an annoyed tone, "at least I don't rattle the cabin with my snoring."

"Hey, that is uncalled for. I snore because I'm tired. I become tired from all our great adventures. If anything, my snoring is a compliment to you." Korra says.

"Mhm. Whatever you say." Asami says as she opens the door. She sees Iroh standing in front of her. She smiles and invites him inside.

"Oh no, that is fine Asami, Thank you. I was just hoping if I could talk to Korra outside. Is she awake?" he replies.

Korra rushes out of the bed and grabs her clothes that she's going to change into. "I'll be out there soon Iroh! Just a couple of minutes." she says as she runs to the bathroom.

"Typical Korra, always a bit late in the morning." Iroh says. Asami chuckles and smiles. Iroh looks at her, "And how are you doing Asami? Are you ready for today?"

"A bit nervous. We left Republic City right after a disaster occurred. We felt bad for being away for six months but I mean being on a vacation wouldn't ruin the world as we know it." Asami states.

Iroh nods, "I understand. You had lost your father, and you were scared that you might've lost Korra during her battle with Kuvira. It's hard to see the people you love slip away from you.". Asami blushes.

"Alright! I'm ready Iroh." Korra says as she comes out the bathroom. They head outside to sit at the picnic table. Iroh pours her a cup of his jasmine tea that he brewed earlier. They take a sip and let out a deep sigh. "I'm going to miss living here Iroh." Korra says.

"Oh Korra, you know that both of you are always welcome back. Thanks to you, the Spirit World is open to all humans." Iroh smiles. "Are you at least excited to go back?"

She crosses both her legs. "Honestly? I'm nervous. To see how Republic City turned out, if anything there has changed, and seeing my family and friends again." She sighs.

"Why are you nervous in seeing your family again?" He asks.

Korra looks straight at him with questioning eyes. "Iroh, you're the only one that really knows me and Asami's...uh........ "situation". I mean both Tenzin and Jinora have visited, but I never told them while they were here. I'm worried about how all of them will take it." She looks away.

"They should care and love you no matter what," he reaches for her hand across the table, "because they are your family and friends."

Korra smiles, "Another 'Inspirational Iroh' quote I see." They laugh and smile for a bit before Asami comes out.

"Korra!" Asami yells from the door. Korra and Iroh look over. "We should start getting ready now."

Iroh and Korra stand up and head inside the cabin. While Iroh tells stories about the adventures Aang and his friends had went on, Korra and Asami start to pack up their things. After a couple of hours, they're ready to leave. Iroh walks with them to the Republic City Spirit Portal.  He hugs them. "I'll miss having both of you here." Iroh says.

"We'll miss you too Iroh." they say in unison. They let go of their hugging moment.

"Don't worry," Asami says, "we promise to visit.". Iroh smiles.

"Take your time. Say 'Hello' to everyone there for me! And please, make sure Zuko is doing well." Iroh says.

"Of course." Korra smiles.

They wave and give their last goodbye. As they approach the portal, Korra says, "You ready?".

Asami hesitates, "I don't know.".

Korra looks at her and grabs both of her hands, "Hey...whatever happens, I'll always be by your side.". She pulls Asami in for a hug. Asami holds on tight.

"Okay. I'm ready." Asami says. They break apart the hug and faced the portal. They walk inside of the portal together, hand-in-hand, waiting for whatever is on the other side.
