His pine tree scent washed over me when he finally resorted to forcefully pulling me closer.As soon as my head was pressed into his chest, it didn't leave. The feeling of his steady heartbeat, understandably a bit faster, was soothing.
The softness of his chest – and his shirt – were what I didn't want to admit I needed.
But his smell was what sealed the deal. Sounds creepy but it was what calmed me down ever so slightly.
