♠ 07 - You Really Need Help ♠

Xan Xan?

That is the most ridiculous name I've ever heard, and I live with Leo.

Blake had just finished bandaging Avi and she looked exhausted, her eyes half closed and her mouth agape. Her dog took a seat on her lap and nuzzled in. I have no idea why Leo likes that mutt so much.

Blake placed back the first aid kit back where it belonged, and Avi fell asleep.

"Meeting now." I ordered but in a quiet voice. Leo reached to pick up the mutt but I stopped him.

"Without the dog." I told him with an irritated tone.

"Alright." He said with a pout.

Leo can be childish and he could never be serious but he's good with computers, he can hack into any network and he does what he's told. He's good at hiding bodies and he kills easy, but if you look at him, you'd never expect that from Leo.

Blake, he's mostly serious. He jokes around sometimes but when he has a job to do, don't mess with him. He kills fast, he moves fast, and he's a loyal partner. You can always count on Blake.

Then there's me, I'm always serious, I can't afford to fall in love or make jokes or any of that shit. Love makes you weak and weakness gets you killed. If I fell in love, enemies would use that against me, besides love is just a fairytale, you don't stay in love, it's just a delusion to make people happy.

We went inside my room and locked the door.

"She called, she wants the girl by tomorrow." I told them.

"I say we call off this, we can't trust her." Leo interrupted.

"She has the money, and the chip." I reminded.

"Fuxk that!" Leo shouted. "We give her the girl and she'll kill us and use that chip for herself."

"We have to take that risk."

"Why can't Leo just make another chip?" Blake asked.

"Are you crazy?! That took me five months just to get that code!" Leo said loudly.

"Shhhhh!" I shushed him."You'll wake her up!"

"So now you're worried about her?" He asked angrily.

"I'm not going over this again!" I groaned. "We leave tomorrow, at five. Be ready."

"Leo has a point." Blake said.

"What point?" I asked with an arched eyebrow.

"We can't trust her, it's better if we call off this stupid mission and live." He answered

"What about that girl?! We can't keep her here!" I argued.

"We'll let her go, she won't tell anyone."

"Great!" I said angrily. "You've gone soft for her!"

"No! This is about us and not her! If we go on with this plan, we'll be dead even before we get ahold of that chip!" Leo shouted.

"That's a risk I'm willing to take!" I yelled firmly.

"Revenge has gone to your head, you're not like you use to be." Blake told me.

"That's a good thing, at least I haven't gone soft."

"If you want to go along with this, go ahead. But when you're in trouble, we won't be there to help you." Leo said in a dead serious tone and he and Blake walked out the door.

They slammed the door behind them and I cursed under my breath. They don't understand and don't care about this mission.

I hit the wall with my fist and knocked over a glass. It landed on the floor with a loud crash AF broke into billions of pieces.

"Xan Xan?" I groaned in anger an turned to face the bītch.

"Get out of my room!" I ordered her.

"No!" She answered bravely and leaned against the door way.

"Did you say no to me?" I asked and appraoched her dangerously, until we were inches apart.

"Xandy, relax a bit. Santa doesn't like grouchy people." She told m with a wide smile.

Everything is a fuxking joke to her!

I wrapped my hands around her necks and began squeezing, but she was smiling and then she began to laugh.

"You always think violence is the answer." She laughed, and I became confused.

"Ahem!" Someone cleared their throat. I turned my head to face Blake.

"What are you doing?" He asked and looked at me as if I was a mad man.

"What does it look like I'm doing? I'm -" I turned my head and she was gone, my hands were just cupping air.

"Nothing... I just - nothing!" I yelled.

"You really need help." He told me and walked away.

I was hallucinating. What the fuxk is happening to me?!
