♠ 13 - I'm About To Be Killed ♠

•Avianna's POV•

*Four Hours Later*

"...and that's why you should never let a lion out of his cage." I finished my lecture and straightened my posture on the couch.

"Okay, so...why did you buy a lion again?" Selena asked.

"Cause, I love how fluffy they are! I also love Tigers." I squealed.

"Is that why you named your dog Tiger?" She asked, petting Tiger who was asleep on her lap.

"Yep!"

"Okay. He is super cute!" She said.

"XANDER! GET BACK HERE!" I heard Leo's voice shout.

I stood to my feet and quickly ran into Xander's room to see Blake and Leo restraining him to the bed.

"What's wrong?"

"YOU!" Xander yelled when he saw me.

"Me what?"

"You might wanna run, he's really angry at you." Blake advised. Then, with supernatural abilities, Xander threw off Blake and Leo and hopped off the bed. He stood at least a metre away from me, but I felt as if he were inches away from me.

"Xan Xan! Buddy!" I chuckled nervously. "Bye!" And I dashed off.

•Leo's POV•

"Who do you think would get tired first?" I asked Selena and Blake as we sat outside watching Xander chase Avi around the warehouse.

"I don't know, Xander seems really committed to kill Avi, and Avi looks really committed to live." Selena answered.

"Looks that way for me too." Blake agreed.

"Popcorn?" I asked and passed the bowl to Blake.

"How long do you think they'll keep this up?" Selena asked.

"They'll wear out...eventually." I told her.

"Twenty bucks Xander catches Avi." Blake suggested.

"Don't look at me. I don't have any money!" Selena shrugged.

"Deal!" I agreed and shook his hand.

"Look!" Selena pointed. Avi tripped on a rock and fell to her knees. Xander was right behind her, he was breathing heavily and he was livid.

"You owe me twenty bucks." Blake smirked.

"AVI! YOU LET ME DOWN! I LOST THE BET!" I shouted at her.

"I'M ABOUT TO BE KILLED AND YOU'RE WORRYING OVER A BET!?" She yelled back, trying to kick away Xander.

"OF COURSE, I'M LOSING TWENTY BUCKS!" I argued.

Xander grabbed her feet and literally dragged her away on her back. She tried to kick him away, but failed. Instead, he lifted her off the group and threw her on his shoulder and carried her inside.

"Damn it! The show is over!" Selena pouted.

"You still owe me twenty bucks." Blake reminded.

"I know, I know. I'll give it to you tomorrow." I growled at him.

"Okay, let's go inside to make sure Avi is still alive." Selena suggested.

"I have full faith in her. She has a lot of tricks up her sleeves." I said.

"It was your faith in her that made you lost the bet." Blake pointed out. "But I have to agree, she surprises me in a lot of ways."

"How did she get rid of you guys to release me?" Selena asked, propping her chin on her hand.

"She put something in our drinks." I told her, scratching the back of my head.

"What was it?"

"It was um...let's just say it made our butts hurt after."

"Oh My God!" She exclaimed and threw back her head in laughter.

"I feel sorry for you." She told us after she stopped laughing.

"Should we go check on them, they're kinda quiet." Blake suggested.

"Nah. We should let them resolve their problems." Selena said.

"Yeah, that works." I agreed. We then sat back and relaxed watching the evening sky.
