Dustin and Lucas jumped out of the back. Tyler wasn't coming to school. He claimed he had, and I quote, ‘something more important to do’.
I know I shouldn't, but I couldn't help but be a little hurt. I know we weren't official, but I wish we were. I know that I'm getting my hopes up on something that might never happen but I just could not help it.
"Hey, hey, where you going so fast Gems?" Dylan asked me as he raised an eyebrow. "It's early, people are barely here."
Lucas stretched and yawned. "I can't believe that Tyler woke us up so early," Lucas groaned.
I watched as Dylan glared at Lucas. I know them differently because Dylan is the driver of the truck and Lucas was in the back.
"Your complaints are dumb," He said. "There is nothing wrong with waking up this early."
I cooed silently, these two were like old couples.
"I'm not talking to you."
"Wanna talk to my fist instead?" Dylan pulled up the right-hand sleeve of his black and red checkered flannel.
Dustin stepped into my field of vision. I looked up at him, curse my 5ft. 3 inches in height. He pushed his hands into his pockets and smirked down at me.
