Sliding out of the vehicle, I grabbed Jackie's bag that she left behind. I grumbled under my breath about her lack of thoughtfulness and gave her the school bag.
"Oh, thank you," She told me. "How thoughtful of you to remember."
I rolled my eyes but nodded anyway. Suddenly her friends swarmed us. They began complimenting her about her party.
"How comes I didn't see you, Gemma?" One of Jackie's friends asked me.
I wasn't comfortable with them but I tried to be. My eyes widened. I wasn't expecting that question.
"Huh?" I asked baffled. I opened my mouth to reply but Jackie beat me to it.
"She was a little occupied with Tyler."
The girl gasped. "So it is true! You and Tyler are dating?"
Another girl scoffed, she had Ginger red hair. "You wish! Tyler doesn't have a thing for nerds. He likes hot girls that actually know how to suck and ride a dick."
I flinched from her harsh words.
She glared at me. "She's nothing but Tyler's new 'flavour of the week', he'll get rid of her soon."
