I stared at nothing in particular as I laid on my bed. There was nothing to do. I had finished all my homework and I didn't feel like re-reading my storybooks.
"Are you going to stay cooped up in your room for the entire weekend?" Jackie groaned. "I have plans for both us and we should have started them ages ago."
She has been at the foot of my bed for a couple of minutes now trying to convince me to get up but it wasn’t working.
"I don't get why you're acting like it's the end of the world. Get up, Gemma!"
I didn't tell Jackie about what I had found out over two weeks ago. I didn't know how to tell her. I let out a shaky breath. Tyler had gotten another girl pregnant while he and I have been together, tears welled up in my eyes.
Why would he have sex with someone else during our relationship? He had looked me in the eyes and said that he only wanted me. Was I foolish enough to believe him?
I had tried to avoid him the best I could at school because every time I saw him, I remember the way the girl threw it in my face that I was not good enough that he went to her and even got her pregnant.
Was he drunk that he forgot to use a condom? Did he deliberately not use a condom?
All these questions were making my head hurt and making me want to throw up and I hated when I vomit and it had been occurring for the past three days. I couldn’t keep anything down even if I tried. I guess I was stressing over Tyler and that blonde too much.
The feeling of throwing up was still nagging me. I took a deep breath through my nose and tried to push the feeling back down, instead it did the opposite. I got off the bed quickly and rushed to the bathroom to let out my breakfast. I felt someone rubbing my back and holding my hair.
