Elizabeth's POV

We finally got to the beach, and Cam tapped me to wake me up. "Where's the beach?" I asked staring blankly at an open area of sand. "Just down the sand dune." Cam said laughing as he was pulling me out the car. "Okay, Okay, I can stand up fine, Cam." I said giggling. We ran down the sand dune, and Cam slipped going down. "C'mon, lazy!" I yelled at him jokingly. "I am nowhere near lazy." He said laughing. I ignored him and sat down at the shore. I slowly ran my fingers through the diminishing waves when Cameron came up behind me and intertwined his fingers between mine. I turned looking into his light brown eyes and said, "Cam?" He looked me in the eye and back down blushing, then said, "Liz, I really like you.." I sat speechless and slid my hand slightly to rest on my ankle. "I-um, I really like you too...I just don't know if I've learned to trust the whole idea of love..you feel?" I said shocked at his words. "Liz..I know why you're scared, but I'm not like your father...not all guys are out to hurt you. I really love you for you, not your story." He said lightly still watching my emotions change from happy to scared. "I-I...I wanna try it, but I don't want to regret anything either.." I said with a tear slowly sliding down my cheek. Cam watched me for a moment, then slid his hand under my jaw, and lifted my head. In that moment, he lightly planted his lips on mine. It felt so right, but I was still scared by my experiences. He backed away from the kiss, and looked at me. I looked him in the eye and said, "More..." In an instant we were kissing again.

Cameron's POV

It was happening...I was going to get the girl. In the moment I told her I liked her, it was as if all her emotions took her over and she let go of our locked stare to watch the water fade from the shore, but in that instant, I knew I wanted her, and I lifted her head and kissed her. After I let go of the kiss, she just watched...I was nervous. I thought I'd lose her, but instead, all she said was: "More..." So here we were on the shore kissing. It was the most amazing thing that happened today. "Cameron...Can we walk?" She said lightly. "Of course.." I answered standing and offering to help her on her feet.

The walk was long, quiet, and peaceful. We walked holding hands and Liz laying her head against my chest. I looked down on her and smiled. "Liz?" I asked. "Yeah,Cam." She said looking up at me. "Do me a favor: don't leave me alone tonight." I said smirking lightly. "I will never leave you without a reason." She said kissing my cheek. "I just hope that's never." I said kissing her back, and we stood still watching the sun set across the water in the distance. I don't want to let her go, but I know when I take her home, she will have to let me go for the night.
